Iplehouse EID Special Edition - Akando / Evan / Kamau / Gentle Akando

You and me both. The character who my Kamau will embody is my most important character EVER. XD Not to belittle my other characters because I love them dearly, but my Kamau will be the resin embodiment of my oldest, dearest and most important character ever. He's very much and quite literally a part of me, seeing as he IS me but in male form. I'm so excited to get him home. Not much longer now, I'm very glad I don't have to wait too much longer. XD

Three more weeks till he ships, hopefully once he ships it will only take him a week to get here and by that time I'm hoping to have his traditional Potawatomi clothing and jewellery done as well as his war mohawk/roach so he won't be completely bald while I wait for his custom wig to be made.

The second he gets here I will totally be showing him off everywhere. Shame it'll be a while till he gets here, but at least I have time to prepare for his arrival this way. XD I can't wait!

 

I should probably order mine some clothes 8D He'll have a wig and eyes.... but it's winter here.. so no faceup for a while.... I should have ordered a custom one.. ;-;

 

Mine has a set of clothing being shipped with him, but his custom wig won't be made for quite a few months by the looks of things, so I'm going to make him a temporary mohawk, which is part of his tribes war wear. XD

I have his eyes too. But yeah the face up will be a while here too. Gotta add all his scars first. Eeek! But yes, order him some clothes. Don't want a nakey boy now do you? Or do you? I know mine would be quite happy to have no clothing due to his personality but, there are two young teens in this house (my dolls) and a real life child so no nude lounging for him! lol

 

LOL, I don't want him to lay around with clothes on, but I think he'd be a little scared, he's pretty shy around most people.. I should get him his jacket and jeans and shirt.... and 3 bajillion pairs of underpants... he likes wearing lots of underpants...

 

Shy huh? Best get him some kinda clothing then. lol My boy is the furthest from shy it's possible to get. He's very confident and loud and also grumpy. lol

He totally doesn't look bothered by the no shoes thing. lol But as I said in the other thread, he certainly looks gorgeous! Congrats on his arrival!

 

Arcane I want to give him a permanent flush to his cheeks too... ahhh he's going to be so shyyy~~

And my goodness Kadepie, he doesn't look phased about the shoe thing xD maybe he likes going barefoot. xD

 

Aww I plan to do that with one of my boys too! Though not my EID boy. lol This guy is sounding cuter and cuter by the second Charsier. XD

 

Thank you! I am so glad to finally have him! I was dumb to pass up on the last RS release for these big guys. He's absolutely gorgeous. Tomorrow I will try to get better natural light outdoor shots of his face up.

 

Arcane, he's still a boy in that body... poor dear~ then he has to wait until I can afford the woman he loves too, he'll be a big pile of naked sulking, in celery shorts!

Kadepie would you also be able to get some more shots of that outfit he's wearing too? I want to see just how it fits C:

Charsier, sure I can do that. I was going to take him outside today since the lighting in my house stinks. It fits him perfectly. Not to tight and not too loose. The pants were easier to get on than a couple pairs of JID pants my MSD sized kids have.

Charsier: Aww your boy sounds so freaking adorable. I seriously can't wait to see what you do with him. I love the big guys who are actually soft and sweet. I have a friend like that. He's HUGE but he really is a gentle giant. hehe Big pile of sulk is soooo cute! XD

 

The blue IH jeans fit him just as good as those black pants. So far I am loving everything I got for him from IH. I managed to snag some boots in the MP and they came today so he's got something for his feet finally. I started playing around with the white tshirt and jeans but I really need better lighting.

 

Sorry guys for posting it here but i wasn't able to post this queston in the 'travelig with your dolls issues etc.' thread...so anyway, did anyone here took their EIDs for a travel? How did you pass airport security? is the carrier bag too big to be a carry on?

Sorry again and i would really appreciate any suggestions.. ^^;; ​

Oh well, I did pay him off in May...

And Kovalevatn, the doll itself is 3kg, and the bag would be about 80cm long at maximum, I don't think it would be a problem as most airlines let you have 7kg of carry on luggage. I'd ask at the airport, or call them up beforehand and let them know it's delicate. Oh, I should probably convert that to inches and pounds.... okay...

3 kg = 6.61386 lb
OR 6 lb and 9.82 oz

80 cm = 31.4960 "

7kg = 15.4323 lb
OR 15 lb and 6.91 oz

If they can mail them by air, you should be able to carry them by air too. :3
