    1. Oddly enough I never really liked the strong man arms before... However seeing them on Kamau and carefully comparing them to the normal EID male arms I found myself really falling in love with them last night and was ecstatic when they replied to my many questions with the comment that they recommended the superhero body if I wanted to order the SE Kamau and then said Especially in case of LT Kamau, if you choose superhero body type, basically he will be offered with strongman arm parts. ^^

      I danced like a loon then. Cos those arms are definitely much more my Sarge. So happy to hear that.

    2. Well, I think I've decided I want my Chase RS, please! But I will probably wait until the next time they are offered, because I just spent a reasonably large sum on a serger. But man does he look fabulous RS! I never thought I'd buy a RS doll.

I went back about an hour later and found them available, but had problems with check out turned out it was the boots messing me up., So went back just about 2 hours ago and not only ordered him and his extras but went to PP and sent payment so he will be paid in full in their eyes late Sunday night here early Monday AM there. Then I just wait. Rin will be shocked when she gets home that little brother will be moving in to start college near by. :lol: Decided if I got Evan he'd not only make a good kid brother, but a supporter of her life style.

    6. Just the brown skin Kamau. As I say they told me this when I asked about the body: Especially in case of LT Kamau, if you choose superhero body type, basically he will be offered with strongman arm parts. ^^ So yeah they are talking about the Brown Skin one only.

      Because you can see he has the more defined, veiny arms on the pics, whereas the RealSkin Kamau only has the normal arms. I could be wrong, but that''s what they told me. The brown skin Kamau comes with the strong man arms, but not the other ones.

    8. I'm sorry. It does kinda suck, which is why I'm glad I changed my mind from the real skin Kamau to the brown skin one. Quite a few people told me it wasn't right for my boy and I should get the brown skin and I am inclined to agree with them. Sorry I couldn't bring you better news.

    9. How. Do. I. Choose? I had my eye on a regular Luo, but only because Kamau wasn't regularly available and I didn't think I would ever have a chance. But then Gentle Akando looks like he jumped off the pages of an 80's shoujo manga, and Chase -- oh my goodness, he's the slightly evil sexy anti-hero from some contemporary manga. I have become fickle.

I'm really having trouble choosing as well.............at first glance i was all about the LT Kamau, but my plan has been to get a model body guy next and I just don't think I"d like the LT Kamau on the model body as much (and I already have the dark version of Kamau)......................and I'm REALLY liking Chase in the RS and I'd love him on the model body. He really threw me for a loop, because I've never really been drawn to Chase in the other resin colors. THat RS REALLY brings out the best in his sculpt though IMHO. Just yummy. As I said, I"m really having trouble making a decision, LOL!

    12. I guess I'd say go with who makes your heart sing. I've never cared for the Chase sculpt but have to admit that he looks really really good in RS.

      And like you I'm not sure how Kamau would look on the model body. As soon as I get my Tedros I can try out my Luo head on the model body and that should give me an idea of how Kamau might look on that body. And since I can't afford him anyway I'm going to have to wait for the next RS EID male offering period. So I'll have plenty of time to decide unless of course, iple comes up with another must have male for me like Tedros was.

    15. RS Chase is killing me. He looks absolutely wonderful! I never cared for this mold before now. Guess I'm not the only one very surprised by how he looks in RS. Is the tone in the pictures accurate as to how RS looks in real life? I had not expected myself to be wanting an EID....oh Iplehouse.

    16. Do you think it's possible to order the LT Kamau with a superhero body but with *normal* arms? Because the strongman arms aren't really working for me, unfortunately...

      @Lotusmoon: Nope he looks a million times better in real skin than any other skin tone if you ask me. As for the colour, I'm sorry to tell you (and someone please correct me if this is wrong but this is my experience from talking to many IH realskin owners) It's actually not as dark as it appears on the photo's. It's lighter and less tanned in real life. I did alot of research on this because I had thought that the RS was perfect for my Native American boy, but was told time and time again that it was just too light. I looked at all their photo's and it certainly looked very pale compared to the photo's.

      Iplehouse has a comparision shot in their gallery and I'm informed that the lighter of the two pics ie the bottom one: http://iplehouse.net/board/data/0906051126eid_man_color.jpg is the more accurate colour for the real skin. Just wanted to note that for you.

      @Mokarran: I'd ask them on the Q and A board about that. Probably the best place to ask.

    18. yeah it's something like that, but some EID clothing are model doll specific (therefore cannot be for muscle body). anything for muscle/superhero body or for both will be a touch loose or fairly loose for model bodies. For pants, it never hurts to just get a belt for it ^^;

    20. Yep even if it's paler, it is still a gorgeous colour. I'm super tempted by RealSkin Kamau and Akando too, even if they are paler. It is most definitely a pretty colour, you're right.
