Iplehouse EID Special Edition - Dexter!

They sold the heads/bodies separately at an event in the spring, but it's the first time I've known them to do it. I"m hoping they will do it again at some point since they had such a good response that they ended up closing the ordering period early. They have said they have no plans to do it again any time soon when asked in July. Who knows............I'd love to have some more separate heads too though, so keeping my fingers crossed.

 

Can someone do this tech Illiterate bimbo a favor and put up a side-by side of Dexter and Arvid? Thank you in advance! Oh, full frontal & profile head shots would be awesome! ( just sounds wrong! :-P )

Silverado style show down between these two for sure! Looks like high-noon shoot out will be happening at my house when Dex comes home

To me they almost look like brothers! I keep thinking of the two growing up and one decides to rebel and become the outlaw and the other ends up a sherif and threw fate, has to go after his brother. I'm also betting that there's going to be a 3rd, possibly a woman thrown into this mix that's also going to cause problems between them.

 

Thet last promo shot has them back to back, which is a protective stance. A little cliffhanger.

 

It's also a starting point for duels, though. And in dramatic photography it's a rivalry stance.

School at home is awesome! I get to keep my job, doing The same hours I did during summer and so, I will be able to put him on layaway in a few weeks and pay him off in maximum 2 months, like my Migma ^_^

 

Interesting note on the photographic effect, but now that you mention it, dozens of anime opening sequences come flashing to mind. It is a starting point for duels, though I'd see that more if they had pistols and not rifles. It's still a big tease. What's happening next? Does a woman enter the picture or a man. And if it is a man, lord help us if he's even hotter. I'm starting to understand the Japanese metaphor of the nosebleed.

 

Okay, don't put any ideas in their heads! I couldn't handle it if there's a 3rd guy who's even hotter than these two, LOL!

 

Iple seems to manage that just fine on their own.

 

Arvid's head is on his way back to IH for a redo on that sealant problem. I am sooo nervous that they might change his coloring. I put a note in to keep those eyebrows dark because he wears a black long wig. I was really tempted to just have a custom faceup done. For the cost of shipping back to IH it would have almost cost the same. Hope I still love him when he gets back home! This SUCKS!

 

When I had to send back some hands lately as they had sent the wrong ones they paid for the shipping kost from my place to them as well.

 

From what I've heard and from my own experience, IH is really good about solving problems and keeping their customers happy. I think you'll be alright with the Arvid head going in for repairs.

 

Just as an FYI, since there was discussion a few pages back on this, I asked Iplehouse if Dexter would be released as a basic after this order period and they replied: "Sorry to answer that we cannot give you any answer about Dexter whether he will be released as basic or CDS, or not."

 

Of course they won't tell you. That would destroy the chance of you impulse buying.
