Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases.       I was wondering the same thing. The last male chimera EID was released at $815 white skin and $945 for the dark skin -but the chimera parts weren't optional at the time. The special edition real skins were $727... I think he'll be $750 - 800 for just the doll, no options added.

    7. Actually, they still go green, they just don't do it as quickly or dramatically. There's a whole thread about it, and here are some of the more pertinent posts on pre UV-additive real skin and brown skin greening and post UV-additive real skin greening. The resin with the UV-additive does seem to be more stable, but not as stable as some other tan resins.

      I'm going to get myself a Tedros anyway, though. (I've already got three greening-prone EIDs, so what's one more to protect?) :sweat I'm in love with this man - he'll work better for the third brother in my wolf-trio than Kamau ever would. Just have to make faceup decisions and save up the spare cash for a layaway deposit. :aheartbea

      The greening issue isn't really a be-all-end-all reason not to buy them - but if you are getting one, you should be aware of it, so you can take proper steps to avoid sunlight and fluorescent light exposure. UV radiation is the cause, so anything that would expose your real skin doll to UV radiation should be avoided. This means good thick curtains or storage in closed doll boxes or cabinets with wood/otherwise opaque doors. I have blackout curtains in my room (I'm nocturnal anyway, so I need the curtains so I can sleep during the day), and it works great.

      I have stupid question. Kiyakotari was pointing out the UV changing the resin colors -- does that include the white lights in shopping malls? That's where we have a monthly meet and they kids sit on tables under these lights anywhere between 2 to 5 hours. ^^;;;;

    10. I'm with you on this one...still on the fence about the beardiness....one minute I think 'YES', then, 'ummmm...not sure'. I think there could be more potential to turn him into a pretty boy without and I love a pretty boy ;) (*waves to Shaitan*)

      With regard to finding another hobby, oh how I've tried to fall in love with different types of dolls that are by far less expensive, but I keep coming back - there's nothing quite like a resin bjd! :)

      I really like his outfit, but think he needs pointier boots. If they made this in real life, I'd definately wear the jacket and bag!

    11. :...(! Im kinda disappointed in the Chimera head. I was really looking forward to it as a companion to my werewolf.

      And, what is the deal with it having no ears?! (Actually, I like the Chimera face on the cane better; kind of like a man-lion mutant sort of thing.)

      Oh well, Im glad the animal parts are an option. Im going to take a big pass on those. :ablah:

    13. I would really like to see a picture of him in profile as I want to see just how manly that nose is and reassure myself that it is only the faceup that is making him look as though he has an overbite. I am seriously considering him in NS, when that comes out.

      ETA: LOL Frozen○! Our posts crossed! It was obviously the time of day when the overbite looks most prominent!

    14. Possibly, but it depends on what kind of lights the "white lights" are. Also, artificial lighting (with the exception of, for instance, a tanning bed) is going to put out far less UV radiation than what is present in actual sunlight. So any color change that might occur would be far, FAR slower. 2-5 hours isn't likely to be a big problem, but if you're worried about it you can always bring along a sheet and throw it over your doll when he or she isn't being photographed or posed.

Kiyakotari: Wow, your test on non UV has some serious greening in one day o.o But yeah the one with the UV protection does look much better and it, at worse, makes it look like an olive skintone, which isn't so bad :D as long as the skin looks within a natural range :3 LOL those nonUVs look almost glowing green at the end of the test X.x;;

    17. WTF? :horror: Ugh, I'm sorry, but IMHO Iplehouse is just going off the deep end. That is the most FUBARed lion I've ever seen. And who was too lazy to make a proper tail for the poor guy? *sigh* IH used to be my fav company. *pulls out hair* Why is it that IH is the ONLY company making with the beefy guys? Someone point me in a direction of a company that makes EID like dolls that don't fade and or go green after a few exposures to the sun or the wrong lighting! :...( Ya, I know, there aren't any yet. :(

Wow! glad you posted this, i never got a chance to see the animal parts, as they took them down...umm..not what i thought they would be..the tail is just a tan Yur chimera tail..the head leaves alot to be desired..I was thinking Werewolf possibility...but he's supposed to be a lion? do they not know what a lion looks like over there??
      He's totally yummy in human form and that outfit is wonderful...but the animal parts don't do it for me.

    20. Eep! I loveeeee Tedros' outfit! I also like his chimera face...if only it didn't have the sculpted mane. It would be awesome if they would have made him a special fur wig mane, but I guess that's something someone could mod out. I'm glad they showed pictures of him with out the facial hair :)
