Iplehouse EID Tedros

I knew he'd make a good Beast! He's not quite a lion, not quite a wolf, but fits the bill nicely for a general all-purpose beast.

 

I'm thinking that the UV realskin has become standard at this point, they won't go back to the old batch because it's far too unstable and they'll get worse complaints and lose customers. I think they're just either forgetting to label it UV or just see no point in constantly labeling that.

Oh they'll bring him out in realskin again Akando and Jessica were realskin and they brought them back out again, Realskin EIDs gets put up on sale 1-2 times a year. At least that's what they told me when I asked, :3

 

Ok, I absolutely NEED those clothes. Anyone gonna buy him who doesn't want them? Please PM me! those clothes are near to PERFECT for my pirate.

 

His cane is fantastic!!!! Not a big fan of the animal parts.... And I don't much care for the coat/hat.. but the rest of him...

 

Wow that outfit is cheap. I was thinking it was going to be like $200 or something. '.'

I'm really not thrilled with the Chimera parts. The head looks too small and the tail, feet and hands are all repeats from Chase (and Yurr for the tail). The outfit is to die for though! And the human version is still sexy!

 

I'm so happy to hear this! there are so many IH dolls I want in RS but missed out on. This guy will be on my waiting list for sure.

OK, I'm confused by what they're saying about the bodies, though . . .

I understand that they're offering to sell a spare body for people who want to have two realskin bodies (which is nifty, and appreciated -- I'd consider doing it if I had lottery winnings to splash out, and have twins to re-enact "Meridian: Kiss of the Beast," a somewhat dubious Italian horror-remake of "Beauty and the Beast", involving a rather similar evil circus, hehe) . . . but are they saying that the chimera head would only fit on the Superhero body?

Is it being shown on the Model body on the left there? (I'd thought that was the Model body -- TBH, this would be my first IpleHouse boy and unless they're shirtless and next to each other, I can't be 100% sure I'm getting it right . . . I *thought* it didn't look bulky enough to be the Superhero body, though.)

HALP!

(I'm only interested if I can get him on the Model body . . . I just really don't have space/interest for a great big beefcake boy, although I enjoy looking at other people's pictures and what some of you guys have done with the lovely strongmen!)

oh thats good. the outfit is not very expensive and i think the body option for who wants chimera parts its nice. im pretty sure i'll see some splits in the marketplace

 

Have you seen the model/hero comparison, Ashbet? They aren't actually much different in size, just a bit of reshaping and trimming.

I'm back because I keep staring at the scruffy version of this guy. >_< I reeeeeeeally don't want a doll that big lol. I've handled an EID and they're half my size. @__@

 

How does one set up a layaway through Iplehouse. I have never ordered from them before and this boy is demanding that I buy him. Although with the two Chalco's and the Nalio I have on layaway, it can't be an outright purchase.

Also with the makeup, do you think it would be safer to mention that I want the facial hair painted on. There is no option and I don't know what is the default.

So I understand that there is no option for body blushing right?
T__T I so wanted him with it... and I wish to see a photo of his profile, without beard... I cannot understand if he has overbite or not, his lips look ok with beard but without it gives me the idea of a overbite... And there are no photos of his profile without facial hair... =__=
I want the body blushing sigh... in the options there is " Hand parts brushing&body brushing choice" but where is it? Maybe I have to order it in the EID brushing section?

I didn't get any of the Chimera parts, but I absolutely had to have that outfit and the totally cool walking stick. I also got the face-up with the sexy five o'clock shadow.

I agonized for a long time over Chalco when he came out, but now Im so glad I decided not to buy him. Otherwise, I wouldn't have had the money to buy Tedros. That was a good call, because Tedros is the doll of my dreams! (Come to mama, Fernando!)

This is my first EID boy. Is the wait as long as waiting for a Soom monthly?

i find the lion head really cute, but... am I the only one who isn't seeing the ears? OK maybe I am 'cause I'm sick and can't concentrate. But it's really pretty.

 

You think he has an overbite, Madammaumau thinks he may have one. Every time I look at him, I think he has one. I don't mind it, but it would be nice to know for sure.

I hear you. I feel the same. Once you have completely paid them off the EID boys ship within about a month. If you pay in one go about six weeks to two months from what I have seen.

 

Ashbet, the way i understand this statement is..... it's just about the body used in the photos..... the photo shown for Tedros head, he is on the model body, and the photo shown for Lion Chimera head he is on the EID body. because they give both body types to purchase in the "body only" category. i would think if the head did not fit the model body, they would not offer it as an option. the thinking is, that when Tedros transforms to Lion Chimera, he is bigger.... kind of like the hulk?
