Great minds think alike! Iple truly has me fully in their grasp, because that's exactly what I'm getting the chimera for. Plus, chimera Tedros looks very similar to an illustration of the beast I've seen in a picture book.

Human Tedros is yummy and it's nice we have options. I'll wait to see him in basic form though. I actually was expecting the more traditional Ring Master.

All I think of is 'Shark Boy' when I see Jacob. It was some weird movie that was on Disney a while back.

I asked the same question to IH and they answered that they never cut the ordering-period short.
I'll order him on the last day of the ordering-period because I ordered SE Jessica three days ago and can't afford him for this month. But it's really hard to wait to order him. I wanna do it RIGHT N.O W!!

I'm so happy!! I've payed my first payment a few minutes ago and I'm still in a bit of shock that I grabbed one of him. Though he is the highest I've ever payed for a doll it's not so bad to pay a bit for 3 or less months.

I didn't go overboard because his accessories really add up. I got Tedros as an EID with his beard, wig, and acrylic eyes. I didn't want the animal parts but I had to pass up the shoes, outfit, and cane because they were just too much over my budget. I just got him a standard outfit and some shoes. More clothes will come later.
Man I'm still in shock!!!!

 

SoOm has already bought out the darkness element. That was Glot, Glati, and Cuprit. The only one left I believe according to the story is the 'one god' but who knows if he will be an individual release or just the award for the competition they've been running.

On Iplehouse fronts, does anyone who has the model body know if they fit into other brands of clothes? I don't really see much of a difference from the iplehouse photos between the two, and the decision is holding up the ordering.
Considering the shipping price is the same for both, and the pants aren't any looser on the model boy (new pants therefore still tight-hot-sexy-pants-of-doom), it just makes me more confused.

 

Congrats, Gothic_hydran! I know it really begins to add up when you start picking accessories, but I think he is well worth it. He's such a wonderful sculpt. His masculine face really goes well with the mature EID body. (Besides, you have to splurge once in a while to get that special doll you really want!)
I know...this hobby is crazy!

 

Quick question...Does anyone know if you can send payment for almost the full amount to iplehouse and then send the remainder via a credit card payment?

Haha, yeah, one of the martial arts instructors for the fitness center I work at does training with him and gives him a hard time about that movie... though personally, I think the movie she's filming right now looks even worse lol

 

So very tempting... I don't care for the animal parts (and usually that would be why I'd want to get a doll--I just love the fantasy elements). Weird thing is that I generally HATE facial hair, but wow, it looks so good on this guy!!!

Oh, I so don't need another doll... I'll be wrestling with a decision all month, I know it!

Is that a SECOND body being offered for those who get the animal parts--so they can have two complete dolls? I wasn't clear on that...

Exactly. I loved Kamau and thought to wait until IH released the standard version, but it never came. Not going to wait now. Tedros is too beautiful to pass.

 

Well half of it would be paypal transfer money. And then the remainder would be credit card payment. That the same thing?

So I'd send them the money in my paypal and then go back and send them the remainder via credit card and just state in their Q&A section the two transaction numbers?

yes... i did that with my Chase. i paid half in PP cash, and half in PP credit card, i then followed up on the Q&A explaining. i had no problem.

 

I'm so tempted! He looks gorgeous and that stubble is doing amazing things to my insides but the clothes issue is really holding me back. It seems difficult to find clothes for EID Model boys on other sites.

Also, the SID range that Iple suggests is coming out this year is really giving me pause about Tedro. Does anyone know if the SID will be larger than the EID men? If so, I'm so getting Tedro!

 

I'm really not taken with the animals parts (thankfully). So, I'm one of those who will just wait and hope he goes on basic- I'd really like to snap him up in normal skin.
