Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. Just wondering...is anyone concerned about the possibility of the resin changing faster than normal? I love love the darker skintone but tan dolls.......just curious if anyone else had these thoughts. I love Tedros and would love to have one...

    3. Okay, since I ordered my Lord ????? Valentine (yes, my four year old came up with his last name, and for some reason it's sticking), with everything I got for him, how long do you think it'll take to get to the states? I'm not in too much of a rush, I've got some other little ones coming in, and fixing up some other stuff. So the time is okay. Just wondering?

    5. I can definately vouch for Soom's "Nightflower" yellow as I have a pair.
      I am quite well aware of the fact that there some quite good acrylics out there...Glib and eyeco I've had plenty of experience with for polymer clay work (baked at low temps, of course) but was just commenting on Dollmore in particular as I've had bad experience with their Acrylic eyes in the 3 times I've ordered (12 pairs all up) ... colours turning out completely different to how they appeared online (green being brown, blue and silver ended up being purple, soft yellow being bright orange) cloudy pupils, crooked irises, etc. They're nice if you just don't look at them up close, but personally I like detail.

    8. Word. I have a ton, and I keep handy a select few pair of their acrylics that do work out (they do make the best acid green) - but the majority of my Dollmore acrylic-eye-pods always seem to wind up at the bottom of the eyeball box.

      But an EID is almost seven pounds of luscious weighty intense lifelike beauty, so I prefer to spoil them with properly-fitting fancy boutique eyeballs, anyway. Tedros will deserve no less. :aheartbea Besides, if you're already dropping a thousand bucks on a doll, another 45 seems like a mere drop-in-the-bucket to make him look extra stunning.

    11. Oh Iplehouse. I want to love him, but I'm having a hard time. The eventual owner pics might change my mind but he's no Kamau. His mouth is only as wide as his eyes! If his jaw was just scaled up I'd be so there.
      And that cane top is tacky as hell.:?
      I'd love an EID, they're all amazing dolls but none of them have quite been perfect enough for me yet. I thought Luo was the one until I realised he looks just like Sylar from Heros.:doh

Actually, when I asked Iplehouse if they'd be willing to tweak the face-up (very) slightly, they were totally willing to work with me. :) They told me to put my request in the comments section when I ordered. So if you're looking to make the eyebrows bushier or the mustache fuller, I bet they'd do it. Yay, Iplehouse!! *does Iplehouse dance*

    18. I think you should definitely ask, because Iples sometimes say Yes to the darnedest things! You have a fine chance of this one.

      FINALLY went & purchased that Tedros. :celebrate: WITH the Cadillac-model eyes! I skipped the Chimera parts, so I had to add on 2 Makeup items to get him some hand-blushing & nipple-blushing. (I didn't see any blushing options in the fullset for just the human parts.) I really like the way they blush the men's hands; I never used to like having my dolls blushed, because I can't keep it clean and unchipped, but I've started getting so addicted to the way Iples do theirs! I think they're starting to make me see the light, canya gimme hallelujah.
