1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Iplehouse EID Tedros

Feb 4, 2010

    1. Indeed! Iplehouse was on the ball with this release.
I wish I could have taken advantage of the early hustle...but alas, layaway. ^_~

    2. They may have just been listening to everyone complaining about wanting the NS releases faster and are just fullfilling our wishes.
Personally I wish I didn't have to wait six weeks plus when I have already paid in full for Tedros. I want to go to the store , get him and take him home the same day I pay for him. I hate waiting for anything I want especially when I pay up front.
That said I do realize he is a handmade work of art so I am impatiently waiting

    3. Six weeks isn't bad. I waited 7 months for a doll once. Talk about a long period of anticipation!

    4. Steph: So did I. Six months tho. For my Amber. Gah..that was one long wait. -_-

    5. That wait for my Amber was painful and I was one of the lucky ones to receive mine in their first shipments.

Iple does ship much more timely but they're saying they are a bit swamped right now.

    6. In a strange way, I kind of like waiting awhile for a doll to be shipped. It gives my bank balance time to recover and for me to forget how much I paid for it. When it does finally arrive, it's like getting a present. Ok, I said it was a strange way. lol

    7. Jeezis, man, if a mere 6-week wait is intolerable for you, get a new hobby. All the Iple LE's I bought between 2006 & 2009 have been big ol' 3-month waits. These gorgeous fullsets don't just happen, y'know. It takes actual human people lots of time to create and finish them. If it's colored resin, it takes even longer, especially if Korea gets bad weather.

This is the first time I've seen LEs ship so quickly-- and definitely the first time I've ever seen them ship an LE before his sales period was even over. Six weeks is nothing! Suck it up! Suggestion: Turn your calendar to face the wall & try to think about baseball.

    8. Heh. Yeah, I'm used to long waits. Waited 7 months for my Sard, but that was because I was on layaway--for which I was GRATEFUL. My poor bank account would give up the ghost if paid off all my dolls immediately (I've been forced to pay up front most of the time, but wow, it's so PAINFUL! I LOVE layaways!!!). Even when I've paid in full, I've had to wait 3 months or so quite often.

The Tedroses are arriving amazingly quickly... I don't know if I've actually seen a limited doll arrive before the sales period was over before! Well, now that there's another sales period open for Tedros, I'm guessing it will slow things down a bit more. Those molds have to be going over-time! *_*

And, yeah, in order to survive long waits, sometimes it's best to go on and occupy your time doing something else entirely! Depends on the person, of course. I actually enjoy hanging about in waiting rooms for months on end, strangely enough. But the time goes faster when I don't! :)

    9. I agree with you all about the wait. 6 weeks is nothing compared to the 6 month wait I had for Skoll. True, it was only that long because I had to take out layaway but I rather enjoyed it. I think it was only when I entered the 'your doll will ship at xxxx' that I began to get antsy and excited. But, I'm another one who enjoys hanging around in the waiting room because it really does help the time go by so quickly, plus i love hearing what others are planning on doing with their dolls.

I have to admit that it sometimes annoys me when people get peeved that their doll has not shipped before it is supposed to. I mean, yes it is always great to get something quickly but the thing to remember is that it takes time to create such a masterpiece, which, to me, these dolls are. Why pay so much money for a rush job?

    10. For me, the major thing that gets annoying, is when a company tells you four diff times an anticipated ship date and it doesn't get shipped. But in the case of Soom, I understand because they're so busy. I mean, Iplehouse doesn't seem to have quite as many dolls as Soom does. But I'm sure they're busy, as well. With the NS release of Tedros and the Special Edition EIDs that are in RS.

    11. I ordered Logan from Bishinon in July 09 paid a deposit was supposed to have him at the end of Sept. and I still have not heard anything I am not sure if I ever will see him.

      Maybe Tedros will ship soon.

    12. Misty: You still havent got that doll, I'd contact the company. How long did they say the wait should be?

I think you'll def get your Tedros sooner then later. Just try to be patient, though I know it's hard. :) I want my big guy home already too.

    13. yahoo, I wrote to IP to see when my beautiful man and all his parts will be here, and I might get him before mid April. They said working on makeup now, can send next week :) KEEPING FINGERS CROSSED

    14. YAY! Meguone! :) Congrats. ::crosses fingers::

    15. After the thrill of seeing him in NS I kind of got peeved that Tedros NS is like 1/3 the price I'm paying for Noctarcana Circus Tedros (who's on layaway). I entertained thoughts about selling NC Tedros to replace him with his NS counterpart. Anybody else feels the same way?

    16. Hm..no..I love the tanner skin..and eventho I didnt buy any extras..I'm just happy I'll be owning the RS Tedros. Tho the NS is pretty. :)

    17. Oh yes! Especially in that business suit! I find it lulzy that the business suit sold out in like a day while nobody seems to want the repair man suit. Gave me an idea for a topic: "lower-class doll characters; is your doll a working class repairman with no college education"?

    18. I wasn't too keen on the NS Tedros tbh but I know that if they release a dark skinned version, my NC version will be sold and I'll be begging Iplehouse to do the NC face-up on it.

    19. I'm not tempted by the NS Tedros. He's nice looking, but the RS guy with the dark faceup is exactly what I've been looking for in a tan doll. I already have a NS guy and wanted something totally different.

    20. I also admit that I'm not at all tempted by the the basic Tedros. I just love too many things about the NC release. (The greatest of which is probably the Chimera parts, which would never come with a basic release, so...)
Hehe, though I can understand looking at both prices and dreaming. ^_~

Plus the suit was really limited, so that probably has something to do with it selling out so fast.
