Oh, that's brilliant! <g> That would look great. Agreed though, the red wig changed the whole aspect of the doll in my opinion. I could have left the plaid shirt, but a plaid skirt and blaser would have been nice with that hair. She could be very prep school.

 

Ooooh... if I had the extra money lying around, I would be tempted to get a large-bust body with the general thigh type, just so I could try them all out and mix-and-match. (Since I ordered Luna with the med-bust and mobility joint)

I am also definitely getting a pair of the extra hands. One cannot have too many doll hands! I wonder if the hands will no longer be available in Rose Gray after the 25th also?

 

I'd say so. The dark Kamau-coloured hand option was taken down after the dark Kamau ordering period closed. And they have not included the realskin as an option with the girl hands because Jessica shipped with two pairs of hands.

 

Thanks for letting me know! I'm thinking about ordering a couple of other small items when I get the hands, but I'm waiting on an eCheck payment to clear to see how much I can add. It should clear by Friday though, so hopefully I can get that wig I've been ogling and a pair of shoes for my Luna too.

 

I'm debating asking them about a second body without the cat parts -- though I love that they made the option avaiable, it looks like the kittybits are included. If just 'human body' was available (hopefully for a bit less) I'd have jumped on this already, but as it stands, I'm waffling on a second body due to the kittybits. They're fabulous, but I'd already have one set, and I'm trying to not be completely drowned in spare parts lately. (That said, I nabbed the extra hands, too... because some part of my brain is apparently not so committed to this 'not too many spare parts' notion.)

I don't know what to think right now. I ordered the full set mainly to get her human form in the rose grey resin. There was a human head available in splits, but no body.

>_<. Although I love Luna to bits, I'm kind of annoyed that they put this option up now. I know a lot of people who did splits to get the second body for their doll and I'm sure there are a lot of people like me who bought the full set for just the human body.

I still don't regret ordering Luna (I mean I did want the high heeled feet as well), but if I had this option available earlier, I may have managed to save myself some money in the long run.

 

I'm not so sure the cat parts come with it. I think they just reused the same pics so that is why the option parts picture is there.

 

But it's just the body, right?

People who ran splits still saved since they averaged her human head and body to be around $520.
I missed the ordering period, so if they release a rose gray option ever, I think I'm looking at this time next year.

 

There is no "Included" list with the body listing, so it's safe to assume there won't be anything but a headless SilentHill kitty body. D: Does it even come with hands and feet??? o_O

 

There is now a drop down window for selections. Seems it's $520.00 for the body with human bits. To get the kittybits....select and add another $100.00.

I'm so lost now. It says this Second body is only available to previous purchases of Tamer Luna, which came with both human and kitty pieces.

So why are they offering kitty pieces with this second body? Won't this give you three heads, three sets of hands and .... 4 sets of feet? o_O; Am I missing something?

Iple must still be messing with the body page. Missed that already purchased part. Seems you do not get any heads....do get the body, not sure about human hand/feet parts....and more kitty parts if you pay the extra.

Iplehouse sure is wasting no time in releasing their dolls.

That changes things then ^^;. Also you are right Amanohara, The bodies that had been in splits that I'd seen were cheaper than that.

I'm also very slow, I just realized the whip was included in the full set xD.

 

Well, the problem I was having logging on to IP's site has been resolved. I still do not know why I could not log on or put anything in my cart. I wonder if IP did something on their end---I never did hear back from them. As long as I can place my orders all is right with the world

 

I'm not sure if they will release Luna in realskin... I think Rose Gray may be the only "special" colored Luna they make. Was there ever a realskin Kamau? I can't remember. Though Luna would be gorgeous in realskin, so I'd love to see her released in that color!

I went ahead and ordered a pair of the spare hands for my girl, as well as some shoes. I was considering one of their wigs for her, but I am just not sure what color... I think I'll have to wait until she gets here and see which shades work well with her skintone. The red in the Iple Gallery photos is beautiful, but the character for my Luna will need a more muted color.

 

Yes actually, Kamau was just released as a Realskin UV LE along with Akando, Evan, Luo and Gentle Akando, so it is possible they will to a limited time release of Luna in realskin later on. You know, when they sort out the resin greening issues.
