Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Yes, I do recall that Kamau was released in real skin at about the same time the ltd. ed. JID NC Jerome/Joshua were released.

      Was he ever gorgeous!!!!:drool, but I couldn't afford at the time. However , IH reassured me that they would re- release him again next year (2010) in realskin. So there's still hope. (FYI- They also promised to re-release realskin JID Amy next year).

      I guess that's why I figure that there's is a good chance of Luna possibly being released in realskin in the future. But, who knows with IH?

      I have a question: Was Kamau was ever released as a BASIC doll with NS or WS? I notice the 5 other EIDs are available as basics (ie. Akando, Evan, Luo, Jessica and now soon-to-be Luna) but NO Kamau? Why? :?I'm wondering if the only way to obtain him is when they re-release him in realskin like they promised they'd do next year.

    2. Vita Luna; no Kamau was never released in NS/WS. I think because he is an African American sculpt he is intended for dark and tan resin only. I know Iple relented due to popular demand and made Cocori available in NS/WS, but that never happened with her beau Aaron.

    3. Didn't they mention only casting with the much darker resins seasonally? Or that they may have them again, but only at certain times of the year? I'm not able to find the original notice at the moment on their site, unfortunately.

    4. They did mention something about Aaron being seasonally discontinued.. that was just before Pierrot Jessica was released. The lighter Swan Lake Cocori is still available right now though. None of those are realskin either.

    5. Hopefully that will be for all the darker resins, and not just Aaron. Don't get me wrong -- I wish they offered them all year -- but I think seasonally would be better than nothing. :lol: Their darker skin tones are absolutely wonderful.

      It makes me wish I had waited to order my Jessica... only two days. She looks so pretty in normal skin!

    9. I'm not surprised as Iple is pretty fast at putting up their basics. I was expecting the new Model Eid or a teaser this morning but nothing so far there.

      The basic Luna is very lovely.

    11. I liked her in the rose-grey skin so much, now with the NS and WS, not so much. She's still very pretty, just not as appealing to me personally. :( Maybe it's because she doesn't look as exotic and mysterious... though I suppose the right wig, eyes, and clothes could help.

    14. I am so puzzled! Apparently, both the Lunas in Iple's pictures are Normal Skin... but but but...

      ... why the blonde one looks much paler than the other??? I know that the dolls belong to different shots, and are put toghether in that pic with photoshop, but... O_o' Actually, the brunette one looks almost a hot pink color, while the blonde one looks almost beauty white. I want to order Luna in normal skin, but now I have no clue of what color is that 'Normal Skin'... any owners of recent iplehouse dolls in normal skin, could tell me wich one of the Lunas ressemble more the actual NS color?

    15. Ooooh... she looks gorgeous in normal skin too! Seeing her with a softer more natural faceup reassures me that I made the right choice in getting the gray version. My rose gray Luna will have softer makeup, but it was hard to picture it from the promo photos with the dark lips and smoky eyes. :sweat

      Nanyalin, I think it's the lighting mostly that makes those both look different. I know sometimes my camera will pick up a very different color cast depending on the lighting. I'm not 100% sure, but I think the Iplehouse normal skin is a lighter shade with a yellowish undertone.

    16. Yeah the background makes her look darker and pinker than she really must be... Nanyalin, check out the photo in the Iple gallery of the EID boys in all the skin tones. The NS Luna should be the same as the NS boy there.

      Ugh I hate the wigs they put her in, but I'm after that body :D

Both dolls are NS; actually, the blonde one ressembles the real color of Iple resin much more than the other; the brunette's color happens to be the result of bad lighting when taking the pictures, since the dolls are not 'there' toghether and it's a photoshop composition. But it is so misleading! XD

      at first I saw Luna Tamer I think she can be pretty boy but I'm not sure about this idea.
      I wait to see Luna basic and it's very fast XD
