    2. Hmm... I keep going back to look at rose grey Luna's photos and the NS Luna photos and it's odd because RG Luna's head looks proportionate with her body while NS Luna's head looks so small to me *_*

      I still love Luna's face and I love the EiD body... definitely contemplating getting her in NS, but maybe not with either of the two face ups offered since they won't work for the character I have in mind. I kind of want to see owner photos of NS Luna so I can get a feel for what she looks like when she has a different wig on.

      A little off topic, but does anyone know how well EiD bodies hold poses? I'm not expecting amazing acrobatic poses or anything like that, but I am toying with the idea of making my future Luna girl into an exotic dancer of some kind so being able to hold 'graceful' looking poses is kind of an added bonus if the EiD bodies can pull it off.

    3. Aralyne, if you do a search for "Jessica" in the Galleries, you'll come up with plenty of pictures of EID bodies posing.

      I'm personally very happy with the body's posing abilities. There are a few niggly things (there's always something - I have yet to own a "perfectly posing" doll) that I think I'll end up fixing eventually, but overall I'm very content.

    4. Aralyne, I think she poses very well, what bothers me is how some of the joints look when she is posing, but strategic clothing could help cover that. I second Kiya's suggestion to have a look through the galleries, especially for MadamMauMau's Mauzi and PamSD's SHE.

    5. Kiyakotari, Twigling; thank you for your opinions and suggestion to check out the gallery. I didn't even think to check there (I checked the bjd pic request forum and Jessica's bjd database thread though *_* ).

      One more question about the EiD body... is it top heavy in the way that it makes it difficult to balance the doll properly? I know some dolls are top heavy and have weak ankles... *looks at her Soom Mecha Angel Sabik Elf* .... :sweat

      Ultimately though, I don't mind if I end up having to suede/wire/hotglue/etc the body. I just hope my future Luna is less of a hassle to deal with than my MA is ><

    6. I didn't find her to be top heavy, she was actually surprisingly light for her size. She might benefit from sueding or silicone disks in the ankles, hips and shoulders, plus have a look at the knee problem/fix discussed in the Jessica thread (and there is a separate thread for it in the Workshop). Tighter stringing than what she comes with from the factory may also be good for her, but it depends on your preferences...

    7. Now that is surprising to hear that the EiD body is lighter than it looks. I figured it might be a bit top heavy due to the size of the boobs, but it's good to know it's not the case.

      I checked the Jessica thread a while back and read about the knee problem. Not looking forward to experiencing that first hand, but I'm a 'hands on' type who likes to take apart a new doll and restring it as soon as it arrives. I'll look into possibly getting some silicone disks for her ankles and hips at least, the rest I'll figure out when she arrives. Now I just have to wait until Iplehouse release their christmas event~

    9. Don't quote me on that, but I'm pretty sure Iplehouse had a christmas event last year and... I think the year before that too actually. It stands to reason (and I'm being optimistic here) that they'd have one this year too.

      Well even if they don't, I still have to wait until the end of this month before I order my Luna. Gotta sell off some unwanted junk on ebay to top off my dolly fund first :sweat

    10. The Lunas have started to ship it seems; there's a box opening over at the dolly arrivals subforum. Seeing photos of rose-grey Luna makes me pine for her... but then, I remind myself that even if I had ordered her back then, I really don't have any character that would fit her *_*

    15. does any one have suggestions on what might match the rose grey resin? the more i look at my girl, the more i feel that the head is too small for her body and i'm toying with the idea of getting her a less substantial body.... i know that the purple soom resin of vesuvia is close, but is there anything else?

    16. darkmothflame: It would be interesting to see how the gray resin from DoD matches (the first thing I thought of).
      The head looks smaller than one is used to, but this can also be due to the very well built body, this girl have forms (in all the right places). :)

    19. I was one who kind of admired Jessica, but couldn't see owning her. Even if she came with a smaller bust it just seemed she & I would not click. But Luna that was a whole other girl. In fact mine in Rose Gray will be home by Thurs and I am thrilled beyond words. I was lucky esp. that seller was willing to allow not only just human parts to come, but I get the medium bust line as well. Yeah!! I have her charecter as well as her name and style of clothes all figured out. But wig and eyes are still a work in progress. ;)

    20. Yayyyyy!!! My Luna's wig FINALLY arrived!!

      I'm going to be getting a white EID body and doing a hybrid head for this character eventually, I think . . . but at least I can get a glimpse at what my Ereshkigal is going to look like when she's all put together -- yowza!! I'm so in love with the EID figure ^__^

      I love the bigger curly hair on her . . . mohair doesn't work for some reason, she needs a looser wave and a nice defined shape, and this is the Leeke wig that I'd bought at the same time that I ordered her, but the order was delayed and took forEVer.

      *glee!* I'm really glad to have a chance to see her all put together with the right wig, after such a long wait!!
