Were the ones that showed up here expensive?

 

She hasn't been on here secondhand yet- they were just released in March and are just now shipping to those who ordered her. She's brand new.

 

I asked them about Ashanti as well, she didn't do a lot for me in the original pics, preferred Asa, but she looks much better in the owner ones, resin looks a lot nicer colour. They said they have no plans to release her in a lighter resin like RS as it would not suit the mould but may release her again in a tan.

 

I wonder what she would look like in a tan? Probably just as gorgeous.

 

I wonder are they going to release her in ebony again?

 

Demonique, if you read back a few posts, several people have asked if IH will release her again and they have said more than likely not.

They also said that it would cost more for them to produce it and the price would go up for buyers.

 

Me either, but once I saw how warm her skin looks in owner pics she really came alive to me. That may have been the case for a few of us. I am certain I won't buy her in anything but ebony, but I'm glad other people might get a chance to have her in tan if that's what they want.

Regardless, people should keep money on hand just in case. Doll companies often change their minds (look at the SOOM thing happening right now) and who knows... Maybe they will release her in an even darker color!

But yes, I would prefer (if they released Ashanti) if she was a similar color. I think the color she has really suited her. And I really don't think too light of skin would suit her.

Good point. I agree about the skin color. I asked them if they would ever do brown or the other colors they have used for black dolls, and they said they would only do ebony from now on for this color range. As you said, who knows though.

 

They don't plan to release dark brown dolls anymore? :S

 

Same here, I'm not really interested in getting her in a lighter skin tone, I wanted to get a wig and clothes to make her look like Piper from Storm Hawks

 

You never really know, but it doesn't seem like it.

 

Let's hope that they will change their mind!

She was shipped on the 9th, but customs have released her with charges.
I don't know the ransom fee yet, but that will be paid first thing tomorrow morning.

A number of people have received their gorgeous RS Asas. Off the top of my head I have seen Kadepie's Nokomis and OldMagician's Li Ni Chang. I believe both have posted their girls in the Box Opening threads as well as the main galleries. Leeloo also posted a gorgeous RS Asa redhead in the Box Opening gallery (with an EID male no less)!

 

My RS Asa is here. I haven't done much by way of photos with her because she is lacking a decent wardrobe. I have had to commission a bunch of stuff in the last week or so and am just waiting on it to arrive. Her red leather jacket from IH doesn't do much for posability in photo shoots.

Old Magician recently posted some gallery threads because the tattoos and face up were just completed for their RS Asa.

 

So yesterday after complaining about a lack of clothes, I started going through stuff I had lying around. Found this scarf? or something that came with a nine9style MSD order and turned it into a wrap shirt for Nokomis.

 

She looks great with that scarf on her, love her in RS, but I think I like her more in NS.
