Iplehouse EID Women - Ashanti and Asa

No, they chalked it up to being the rainy season and left it at that.

 

That sucks. Now I don't even want Benny either.

 

It sometimes happens over time like after you've had the doll for months. That happened to my Aaron, but my Cocori had no issues except at the ears and Ashanti so far has no problems but I thought I was getting a custom faceup with her but there was some mix-up and I have her default so I'm getting it redone anyway. Get Benny, just without the faceup. that's what I did.

 

I've seen Dollmore dark tan dolls with that problem too. I think the MSC doesn't get totally dry between layers because of the humidity and becomes cloudy. They should make it right for you.

 

I already put Benny on layaway with a face up. Now I will sit on pins and needles praying she doesn't look ghostly, too.

I am happy that it is just the sealer, though, but her face up is exactly what I was looking for it to be, and now I will have to be done over, and I will have to wait for her even longer.

It's sad, but I guess it could be worse.

Well you could see if they will remburse you for the faceup for Benny or have someone do a close version of the Iple faceup for Ashanti because I dont think it's anything they can do as far as the weather goes but it's not our fault as well and we are paying for a service that comes to us damaged so we shouldnt take the damage as something that just happens. Generally there is no real damage to the head and it comes right off with that Volks cleaner spray.

 

I hope they do something more than just tell me about the weather. I've found an artist who will make her just as gorgeous as Iple not too far from me.

 

Thank you, divadionne! Sorry to hear about your Ashanti's faceup! I think you should definitely ask Iple to send your Benny blank rather than with a faceup (since she's still on layaway). You could explain that you would like to avoid having the faceup problems that you have with your Ashanti.

D, I am so sorry she arrived like that! I don't understand why IH doesn't notice this or if they do, they seem to think it's ok and the new doll owner isn't going to say anything? Sheesh. I really hope they work with you on this and SOON! I love that shirt you got her, I was eventually going to order that and some regular jeans for my girl.

I agree! I don't think they have started any Bennys yet and this way you could get on a spot quicker with a face up artist you really want.

Benny will began manufactoring the second week of July they told me so they should be able to change her order under the circumstances.

 

Hi everyone ! I don't have a EID yet, only a JID, but I'm lurking sometimes.

Now I just saw the pic.

I'm in love with this ! It says Tokyo Monogatari, which means something like Tokyo Tale. Now that I think about it, it sounds logical that it would be simply new outfits, but I was kind of hoping for some sort of limited edition doll... that would be great ! (but not for my wallet...)

When looking at the picture for Tokyo tale (thanks for translation ^^) it looks as if Asa has got a different faceup from her basic sales page, which is making me think limited edition doll with clothes. Don't know why but it just does.
