Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.       Still need to order my guy. I'm waiting until I hear word from the person I sold a doll to that she's arrived, then I shall be jumping on him right away! :D

    5. I haven't scrambled so much to sell stuff off since I got my EID. XD But the good news is, I'll be able to start my layaway after my next paycheck. Yay.

      My husband was actually saying last night that he's been meaning to learn to forge armor, and he wouldn't mind trying to make some for my little knight-to-be. I was actually a little surprised that Claude didn't have MORE armor on him, it looks like they decided to go the anime-style minimal armor route.
      I wonder if they have plans for more knights, if one would be released with full plate armor? It'd be ridiculously expensive, but I can't help but imagine it'd be sensational.

    6. Oh heavens, I wish my guy would learn how to forge armor for my dollies. O_O I really wanted to eventually learn how to do it for dollies myself, but if your husband ends up doing it, you need to show it off. :D I would love more full plate options. :drool

    7. I haven't looked into forging armor, but I do know some people who have made crazy armor by slush casting plastics or fiberglass. I wonder how well that would work for doll-sized armor.

      (On second thought, thats probably exactly what they did for this guy's armor...)

    12. I was just thinking about a casting of armor. Making molds and casting is so long of a process though, I don't have the patience for it. I do, however, have enough patience to bash something with a hammer. :XD: Oy...

      I am glad Iplehouse has a long order period for this boy. I don't know what half of us would do if they only gave a three-week window or something like that. D:

I'm VERY grateful for the long ordering period; I'm doing my best to gather the money for him asap, but my only source of doll money is plush commissions, so money sometimes comes in pretty slowly. Luckily though, I got a few big orders and I'll be able to at least afford a layaway around the middle of next month. I think I would have cried if Claude's ordering period was super short! xD

      Yeah, definitely wanting. Going to see if I can sell some things off (from an unrelated hobby) so I can hopefully afford to get him toward the end of his ordering period. Will probably have to use layaway, but I am determined to make it work.

      I just can't decide if I should splurge the extra for the real skin or just stick with normal. In the photographs, I much prefer the real skin, but that may also be my preference for the face-up colouring my impression. Might also be the lighting making the normal skin look so washed out, because I don't dislike how Iple's normal looks in owner pictures. Then I'm also a little worried about all I've heard regarding greening issues with the real skin. >_< Guess I've time to decide.

      Definitely getting him with the armour, though.

    18. Malaryush The real skin greening hasn't been an issue for years, so if you want real skin I would definitely get it. I made the mistake of getting my Arvid in normal skin for similar reasons and I really regret it. Luckily I will be able to eventually buy a new, Real Skin basic Arvid but you won't be able to do the same with Claude :<

      And oh my GOD he looks AMAZING in those clothes. He even looks good in all the hair colors... quite the model indeed. For some reason, he really reminds me of EID Luna in the "Humphrey roll-shirts" photos. Hmm

    20. He's so pretty. @n@ I'm saving up for my first doll now, and I was really hoping to get Storm from Iplehouse, but I'm also seriously considering seeing if I can't order him, instead. He reminds me a lot of my character that's my namesake (A fallen angel named Elijah). At least, in the face he does. The pretty pretty knight clothes are nice too. xD
