Wow, he's much cuter with dark hair. love the new clothes too, about time they got more casual SID stuff.

He'd make a good brother for Eva, I think he looks like her, same nose and cheeky face.

Ahh, thank you. That's good to know. I hadn't really been following Iple releases too closely before, as nothing else had caught my eye, so I'd been trying to do all the reading I could after Claude's release. I still saw mention of green tinting in the "new" real skin, but I wasn't sure exactly when the changes happened or what had changed since.

At this point, I think it will come down to how much money I can scrounge up by the end of his ordering period what I decide, but I'm definitely leaning toward the real skin if I can manage it.

Now to go stare at Claude s'more...

 

Oh my, wow. He is just too nice in real skin to pass over. But I wanted to make him a blond, and I don't want him to look like a surfer... But, real skin! I don't know what to do, maybe when I get enough money, then I'll decide. :3

 

I've been thinking the same thing, Pandy; I'd like my guy to be real skin with light blond hair, but I'm afraid it'll make him look too much like the surfer macho type guy xP

 

Ah! so excited!! I wait for a Claude head in normal skin (split) with make-up type A!! I have two Iple dolls in real skin and are amazings, but my character for Claude is a pale boy hehehe..

 

Like everyone else, I can't seem to find a good hair color either. I'm currently debating between Draco-Malfoy blond or espresso brown...

I think I will just buy one of each and see how both work out :/. I need more wigs anyway (only have four lol). It will probably be blonde in the end, just because RS Chase looks amazing in blond (imo) and ALL of my other dolls have dark hair :<

 

YAY YAY YAY !!! Got all the money I need to order him in RS !!! now ... how important is that mobility joint people ? It's $20 - I should splurge on it but I need a pair of boots 'cause I can't make those and I'm thinking I need that wig ... does anyone know which wig he's wearing - does it come in other colors? none of the ones I saw in the wig section look right :/ Vance is supposed to be dirty blond - I could DEAL with the one he's wearing even though it's a bit on the light side but then I don't know if I'd be willing to trim it 'cause my guy's got short hair. You can NEVER find good short/masculine wigs for guys. (suggestions or links welcome )

 

WOOOT! There was some discussion in the Basic EID and SID thread about the mobility joints, some hated it and some love it. Personally, I would buy the boots (in fact, that's exactly what I did)

Speaking of color, I was sort of curious as to what he would look like with ridiculously over-bleached hair, so I shopped one of the stock photos lol. I'm no Photoshop ninja, but it got the job done more or less. Here it is if you guys are curious :U

 

The mobility joint has me stumped too. Though I agree with lililovelace, I'd put the money towards some boots. From what I've read the benefits aren't huge and aesthetically they're an eye-sore.

Gah I love that wig, it's the wig I want to put all my guys in so they become hair brothers. Now if only Leeke would restock it in the colours I want! xD

Ooooh, thank you for the photoshop! That is almost the kind of colour I was hoping of finding for my Claude, though I'd be looking for something a little more dirty platinum

PS: anyone know which size Leeke fits an SID guy best (I'm asking 'cause there's some debate in the MNF thread depending on head sculpt)

I had a Ryan once with the mobility joint, and I never used it, honestly. That's why I'm not going in for it, I don't ever use the thing, and it just ends up catching the ends of boxers in it. D:

I am a fan of the cut fur wigs for boy's styles. I have seen quite a few that are well done and very boyish. For my boy though, I am going very long and very pale blond. I am hoping it works out, because otherwise it'll be that default wig.

 

Fur was my other option - I've trimmed two of them for my boy LTF and PKF and it wasn't hard to do. I may try that first, as they are less expensive and upgrade to a fiber if it doesn't work.
Anyone do the layaway option yet? This will be my first so, if I'm reading right, you place the order - opt for paypal - get an order # - submit 1/3 via paypal - make sure the rest is in before 3 months are up to avoid service charges ...

 

You guuuuuuuyyyys. *whinewhinewhine* I was trying to think of all kinds of excuses not to like him, and I was succeeding! And then you all had to go and talk about the new pictures, especially with the dark hair. And I was originally thinking dark brown or black hair. And it made me go "OH SH--!" And now I don't know what to do! (I have the money, but I was saving up for other stuff.) Heeeeeelp!

 

I still prefer him with the blonde hair since my character is a grade A swindler Damn those clothes look reaaaal nice on him though!

I think if I get him I will get him with the mobility joints though, I like my dolls to be able to sit 90 degrees up without lean

Here's a thread explaining the posing ability of the joints, it's EID Luna but the joint is pretty much the same in all Iple dolls:

And when you do make another payment put a note in the Q&A section for them telling them you are making a payment and give the order reference number and the amount you are paying.
