Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     4. Those pictures are amazing! D: I am so conflicted and keep wavering on the skin tone. Is greening of tan skin, even tan skin as light as Iplehouse's real skin, as inevitable in time as yellowing of normal skin is? Yellowing, I have no problem with - green, not so much.

      Yeah, after seeing those pictures with him in Real skin, my mind is made up. I'll be ordering him today. *-* Just need to make up my mind on armour blushing; leaning toward getting it at this point, because I have so many other projects to work on - it would be nice to just have his armour ready to go right out of the box rather than have to worry about learning how to blush it properly or sending it out.

    7. I don't think "inevitable", if you care for it. I have the first-batch-of-Realskin Akando Pierrot here (pre-UV-cut, 2008), and he's never been coated... and I keep his shelf draped... and his color is still lovely after 3 years. But then again, it has only been 3 years so who knows what the future will bring.

      My oldest dark-tan resin doll is over 5 years old (Tan Soo Ri v1) and he still looks great too... the sealant on his faceup has gotten a little ashy over time, but there's no greening or discoloring on the resin itself. I keep his shelf draped too.

      If you have a very sunny home & don't feel like bothering with a drape all the time, Normalskin would be easier to care for. But if you're willing to keep him out of most of the sunlight most of the time, he should be fine, and Realskin is a beautiful color. <3 I personally think it's worth a little extra care.

      I do love the look of alla that bad-ass armor... but my Claude will be a lover & not a fighter, so I'm starting to think I should just skip it. ;;^^ It is time to bite the bullet and just order him!

I don't plan on leaving them lying out on a porch, obviously, but I was afraid that covering his home in my room or even keeping him away from sunlight like a Rice vampire wouldn't be enough. I agree, it's such a lovely color, and photographs so well! A lighter skin tone on Claude won't make him any less wonderful, but that color...

      Okay. I'm ordering him now. :D

      Luckily i live in a basement apartment & the room I keep my dolls in is naturally quite dark. We use a lamp with energy saving bulbs, but it doesn't shine directly on my girls. So my Claude will have a proper enviornment to keep healthy in. :D I'm super excited. I have a countdown going on my phone.

Yeah, I'm a bit upset too -- I was waiting until my paycheck was deposited in my account (and until I got home from work to use a proper computer) because I just paid a large bill and I like to keep my account at a certain amount. I suppose it serves me right for being so anal about things. I should have ordered last night like I'd planned to, instead of taking a nap. xD
