sahoma, good heavens, I really hope so!

 

I actually had a problem checking out...I forgot that I already had him saved in my cart from yesterday and I tried to add a whole other Fullset and then I got an error message saying incorrect amount. I think that if i hadnt already had him in my cart I would not have gotten him. Did you have him in the cart already or were you adding a new one?

And I thought about it and something doesn't make sense: someone said they probably stopped selling him now since The 4th is on asainesy (and they don't work The weekend) but he got sold out just a few hours ago. That mean that they went to change it very very early a saturday morning???

 

Oh, he sold out a few hours ago? Hm. I was thinking that they would have marked him as 'Sold Out' at the end of their business hours on Friday... D: Unless someone was working really late? xD

 

well, I'm crushed now. Really should have ordered him earlier today instead of waiting.

either way, I really don't get why would they stop selling him TWO DAYS before the date without any warning? they didn't even left any reason/explanation when they changed his status! this is suspicious è___é xD;

(I know I've already posted WAY too many commments to complain and I should shut up now, but it helps me relax a bit ^^;; )

 

carmen171 - I got the same error message... Did you somehow find a way to check out, or is he still stuck in your cart like mine? I asked on the Q&A about it, but now I'll have to wait until Monday to get an answer T__T

I just find it really strange that he switched to "sold out" at around 6:30AM Saturday, Korean time. You'd think there wouldn't be much difference between closing it Saturday or Sunday... I'm hoping it was automated or something, and they just set the wrong date/time...

 

UGH. D: I had the same. I just tried to check out, just in case, and it won't let me. This is horrible.

I was going to complete the order yesterday but I had things to do and never got around to it. I would have done it this morning, but I wanted to make sure I'd had a chance to read back through the layaway policy so I could get the payment done correctly before completing the order. He's still sitting in my cart but it won't let me check out. I am heartbroken. I really hope it was just a mistake and they reopen his order period for a couple of days to give us one last chance.

Edit: I see several others posted on the Q&A. I'm going to do so as well, in the hopes that enough expression of interest will help our cause. Ugh. *fingers so very crossed*

 

HA!! so they indeed changed it on saturday morning!
I would jump everywhere if monday they said "we apologize, there was a bug in the system. Claude will be available an extra day or two" or something like that

 

sahoma - I really hope that's what's going to happen. T_T I am absolutely kicking myself over not completing the order sooner. I just kept waffling on the armour blushing and I finally made up my mind for certain yesterday.

I know it's "just a doll" but I am so disappointed right now.

don't worry. you're not alone to feel like that! (judging by the tittles of the messages on IH's board and the comments here)
I also made up my mind a day or two ago (I found him a character and therefore finally knew what skintone I wanted). I am planning to buy Dexter and started building his story. he seems like a grump to me so I just had to put in a dude that will piss him off, and I kept seeing Claude's face! he became very important and I already started to imagine my little doll familly and for once I was really happy about it! they just seemed so awesome ^^ now I just can't see myself buying only Dexter it really screwed up all my plans.... *pout*

 

Ugh, that's awful. I know just what you mean, too - I had a story and relationship all figured out with one of my other dolls (one I've already ordered, but haven't yet received) and that doll is going to feel so flat and "alone" if she doesn't have him. I just can't see any other doll taking his place, either.

And for the record, I love the idea of Claude as the guy who'd piss off the grouch - he definitely has that look about him. ^^

 

I was in a similar boat. He's sitting in my cart saddened that I am unable to bring him home. :C

I guess if they don't reopen his order period I'll have to look for him secondhand. :[

Well, I was trying to add a new Claude without realizing he was already in the cart...then when the error message popped up several times I just clicked on the cart icon uptop and checked out that way.

 

I'm with Akudem - I feel SOOOOOO bad for those who didn't get to place their order and I too hope you all get a good resp. from Iplehouse on the Q & A board !

 

OK, I definitely think something weird is up. I just checked on the Japanese version of Iplehouse's site, and Claude is not listed as sold out there!

Unfortunately, on that version, "Japan" is the only available destination for EMS shipping, else I'd just sign up and check out there. =/ But I'm really hoping this is a sign that it's just a bug in the English site and not an issue of them selling out as many dolls as they're willing to make.
