Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. Congrats on those getting him. The coffers are bare and while I'd get him eventually as a basic, I don't ache for him enough to bleed my turnips to try to get him. If it's meant to be, mayhap I'll be lucky and pick him up secondhand.

    4. @Pandy ~ If I'm able to get him, he will assume the role of my EID's best friend in the whole entire world. While Rune (my EID) is just a bit bigger, taller, stronger, and more skilled... Van (Who my Claude will be!) makes up the difference in spirit and determination. ^^ If I am able to get him, though, he'll need one little modification... Van is a half-elf, so I will have to give him pointy ears!

      I wonder if I should try to orchestrate a yard sale to help with funding. :\ I have two boxes full of things I need to get rid of, but I don't know. I've actually never had a yard sale before, so I don't know how well it would go.

    5. I doubt they'll NEVER re-release these sculpts in any shape or form. How many times have we heard this from other companies, only to see a re-release?

      I think people need to keep this in mind before getting too bent out of shape. Though, you won't get a second chance at this fullset, that's for sure!

    6. Yeah, I also doubt that he'll never be re-released. So I'm trying not to get my heart too set on nabbing him. But at the same time, since my husband has already given his blessing, I really wanna pounce on this before he can change his mind! :lol: He doesn't mind my little Bei, who tends to migrate around the house from shelf to shelf throughout the week, but he really does have a passionate dislike for my big EID guy. I was shocked when I showed him a picture of Claude and all he said was "Well if you want him so bad, you should go ahead and get him." I hope he's as receptive when it comes time to order my girl!!

      Well, his name is going to be Carmen and when I get a RS Chase I plan for them to be brothers. Other than that, I have no idea haha. I guess I will find out what his personality is like when he arrives.

    12. you have a point here! for sure he'll never be released as a basic or part of the CDS but there is a tiny chance they might re-release him as another limited someday ^^ soom did that -> human form of their fantasy dolls in a skin color they were not released in. also CP breakaway has been sold 3-4 times.
      but personnaly, just to be on the safe side, I wouldn't count on that and I'd order him now if you (generic you) really really want him!

      I'd be in HEAVEN if they ever re-release Lahela :D on a SID body would be greattt *stupid smile*

    13. Ordered my guy yesterday. He's going to be a buddy for my Felix (Gideon). Already named him Laurent (Gideon calls him Larry).

      As for re-release...well, just because SOOM or CP has done that it doesn't mean that Iplehouse will. Only time will tell. But for now, I believe them when they say they won't. *shrug*

    14. Nnnngh, looks like I'll likely be ordering my guy over the next few days. I can't keep myself away from his sales page.

      My boyfriend picked his name for me; he joked that we should call him Ser Cullen (we're both Dragon Age nuts) and it kind of stuck, so Cullen it is :lol:

      He'll be an olde worlde knight living in a slightly borked modern world but is not entirely of this time thanks to a certain angel/other worldy being who enjoys dragging him around (my Sard, Lelial.) xD

      As for re-release, well I don't want to risk it...and I also want his full set and there is no way in hell that Iple will release that again!!!

    15. He's definitely coming home. I needed a smug, sure of himself and not angryface SID and Iple gave me just what I needed, damn them. Was certain that with the armor he'd be all stern and serious, but they flipped it on me. Have to wait until the Volks lottery is done and he'll go on layaway near the end of the order period, but...D'van has his proper sculpt now.

      Second-third-nthing that if you want him, buy him now. Iple outright said at the beginning of the Elemental Guardians series that they would not re-release them or put them in CDS. Trying to base the will-they-won't-they off the practices of other companies is, IMO, setting yourself up for disappointment and the battle of the secondary market.

      Companies do change their 'mind' from time to time, but I think it's best to assume that what they're saying now is their plan from here, forward. Hoping for a re-release is as reasonable as anything else in this unusual hobby, but counting on it.... is probably not the best idea. :)
