I adore Winston!! Such a gorgeous picture. I love the spring flowers, and Miho's outfit. Thank you for posting the photo.
Thanks. I've been trying to take advantage as much as possible of the scillas while they last. I have a small patch in my backyard, but the best place is an old orchard on the town line which is a carpet of blue every spring...
Mercy! Beauties posted above! Such a delight to see them. And squeeeeee....at my newest arrival...I'm totally smitten! Fjord by luluna33, on Flickr
@skyealloway - Thank you! I have to say...I agree! Squee! @Ashemanu - Thanks! Yes, he is a Dylan...I will add another photo here... @Weilansen - Thank you! No...his helmet was part of a fullset from Iplehouse. It's so well painted too. Here's a frontal view. He is PG resin. My lighting wasn't the best. And his outfit is so clever and detailed I adore it! Fjord by luluna33, on Flickr
@Ashemanu - @ResinRapture - @skyealloway - Thank you all for your kind comments! HIs outfit is so clever...the little leather-like straps for his furry bindings are perfect and hold a basic knot. The fur is super soft and very real looking. (Though of course, it is fake.) It's well done all around. I now wish I had a whole clan of these dudes kitted out. I am just loving Dylan and his helmet too. He has the more basic faceup underneath to hopefully sor of match my larger EID PG Dylan...so he can be a Mini-Me...version of the same character. (Now if only I had a big EID sized helmet. LOL)! This hobby...
Maybe weird question. Can you buy individual parts for an FID anywhere? Like if you decided after getting a doll that you actually did want the mobility thighs, could you buy them separately?
@Crissaegrim - No you can't buy mobility thighs separately. You can get hands and feet separately though.
My one son owns a movie studio and he's been asking me to bring some of my dolls so he could play with them in a virtual environment, so yesterday, on Mother's Day, I went there with some of my dolls, including Miho and my dragons. It certainly took doll photography to an entirely new level....
@MB Lilac She did it! What a nice mother's day surprise and what lovely results. When I read about your son's studio on your blog a while ago I was wondering if you would post some pictures in the future. This looks phantastic.
@nancy_schroeder_ca & @ResinRapture - Thank you. It was really fun seeing my dolls in environments I'd never be able to photograph them in in real life. Once I process all the photos (I shoot in RAW and there were a lot) I plan on putting them all into an album on my website. Here's one from behind the scene with my three guys....
