1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Iplehouse Fashion Doll Discussion - Part 12

Oct 27, 2016

    1. Oh my gosh her abs are fabulous! I wish I had a gal on the athletic body

    2. I favour the athletic body I think because of the sculpting. They are amazing lingerie models but yes the body is that little more "built." Haha...dangerous yes, perhaps she is @ResinRapture

I like the slim body for my younger looking sculpts or depending on the clothing...the slim body is great for modelling too.

@skyealloway you definitely need an athletic girl too :)

    3. I adore the athletic body... though eventually I want girls on the slim and curvy bodies, too. Deanna could use friends with slightly different body types for the adventuring party.

    4. WOW! She's red hot!

    5. best eye size for the fids? I have a grace on the atheletic body. I'd like to get her a pair of glass eyes, but not sure how the 8mm would look on her.

what's everyone's favourite eye size for the fid girls? or do you usually just use the eyes that come with the doll?

    6. @Maud You definitely need some small iris eyes! 8mm is best in my Elle. If you REALLY want glass, off the top of my head Dolly Planet has a couple:
Small Iris Low Arc - Buy Discount Small Iris Low Arc

But there are a lot more options that will sit more flush if you look for resin eyes.

    7. Do round eyes work in Iplehouse dolls or do they have to be oval?

    8. @Glace Leau : Thanks! I'll look into some resin, eyes. I just liked how glossy the glass ones looked in images, but I think resin could world too.

Moonlight bjd is a "local" store and I didn't realize there eyes were resin. Super pretty. I think the 6mm/12mm would fit, But not sure about the 8mm/16mm.

    9. @Crissaegrim Round definitely works! I don't like oval eyes because I like my dolls to look up or to the side.

@Maud No problem! Resin eyes can be as shiny or shinier than glass depending on the materials used. At this size they will be a lot more even and finely detailed than a glass pair - I like the low arc extra small iris glass eyes I have from Dolly Planet, but they are simple as can be.

I'm not sure why, but those eyes from Moonlight are written in reverse order to how they usually are. The bigger number is the eyeball diameter and the smaller one is the size of the iris, so those are 12mm and 16mm eyes and they will not fit at all. You want an 8mm eye with an iris somewhere between 2 and 4mm depending on your preference.

    10. @Glace Leau omg that makes so much more sense!! For some reason I had it in my head that fid eyes were 6mm iris
But that would be way to big. I'm so glad I asked here first!! I'll check out dolly planet, ( I was having a hard time finding anything on etsy).
      Thanks!

    12. @LyanneNZ
So pretty! What sculpt is she?
      PS: your sweater looks great!

    13. She is a Lahela. I have this one in real skin and one in light brown but I love this sculpt so much I could happily have a whole lot more of them :)

    15. @MB Lilac Outstanding as always. The outfits are amazing, but what I love most is the little elf (?) in front of the couple and the bishop :) The whole picture is a wonderful composition.

    16. Thanks. Yes, in my Fantasy world anything goes. Willie and Winston definitely had to be there, as they are both among Baron's closest friends. Willie had to stand on a chair (on the right) so she could look over the partition, and was on the side with my JIDs and other MSDs, while all my FIDs and their families were on the opposite side, although most of their children were in the bridal party.

    17. Oh my! @MB Lilac - What an amazing photo! I can tell that one took lots of work....Bravo!

    18. Amazing and so much detail. It really does look like you went to St. Paul's Cathedral for the photo. Beautifully done.
