Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases.     2. The neck is .5 cm bigger, though. I've asked that question on the iP board. They could very well be altering the well in the bottom of the new heads they're making, but hopefully will answer that question soon!

    5. Not for me though I really like it a lot. My characters are modest so I don't mind a chest joint. In fact, I prefer it. I have Elfdoll Wu and he has no upper torso joint. It is insanely hard trying to give him a 'natural' pose without that joint.

    8. I'm just so surprised that they're coming out with another new boy body so soon. I mean, this is version five already. *_*

      For all their muscle, iple house boys are whip thin when compared to other boys the same height, including skinny necks. I wonder if they've bulked up the neck on this new body so it will be more compatible with other companies heads? I am in the market for a new body sometime soon...

    12. Well, I asked the question about the neck size at the IP site, and got an answer. (The prior necks are 10cm circumference, this neck is marked as being 10.5cm). Here's their answer:

      You don't have to worry about exchanging the head.
      From the middle of neck to the below is increased only.

      So that means all prior IP heads will fit the new neck!

    13. I've had one person tell me "yes" and another tell me "no", both of them are reliable and they each have Volks and iple house dolls. Somebody else said iple house get dolls from two casting sources, so the resin varies between tones. Which one source matches Volks is not determined, or if you can ask for them to send you one to match Volks coloring.

      I'm concerned that the iple house neck will be too slender for a larger Volks head. I was looking at a friend's version four body last week with this in mind, and the neck seemed too skinny. I am sure that a Volks head on that body will make for one skinny looking guy. I think I'll wait until somebody else has tried it before I decide.:sweat I'm curious though.

    14. Damn! That'd be so perfect for Leo. But making it match his skintone might be a pain. *sighs* Must think about it. On the plus side, if I can get the dye off of his body and buy him a new one, I'll have a body for Dusk, as well...

      On the topic of resin matching: I have Dusk on a oldskin SD13 body at the moment, and while it's not a perfect match, the IH resin is pretty pale, it's not a bad match either. Depends on how picky you are. I assume the other way around would be the same. I'd check, but my dolls aren't with me at the moment. I do agree that some Volks heads would be too big for the body, but a F-17 might fit well. It's a smaller head, Matai's wigs are forever falling off, even the actual Volks ones.

    16. Me too. This new body is nice, but they got to get some other colors in the house.
      The major reason I didn't buy Dark Aaron was he was too skinny. I'd love a muscular Dark Aaron, and he'd look MUCH more true to life.

    18. I'm with the other people here who will just explode from joy if they release a dark boy using this body.

      And the front is nice enough, but in my opinion, the rear view is really where it's at :drool

      This is SO my Ryu head's body. He's supposed to fit Volks normal well, and I'm banking on a close match! If not, I'll just blush the body a bit - no big deal, with biceps like that! :aheartbea :o *_* :aheartbea ​
