I love the shoes! I can't wait to see the finished face. The toes look great!

 

Her faceup is a work in progress... It has been a while since I've done a faceup and my skills aren't just rusty... They are corroded!

 

The body blushing, shoes and nails look very good to me!

 

Thank you! I'm terrible at eyebrows! I like her look though, so I might try again this afternoon... I still don't have a name for her. Do you have one for your twinky??

also - I've found that middie Blythe/odeco clothes fit her! I can't wait to start sewing for her!

Great news on middie Blythe and odeco clothes fitting her. I find Pukifee clothes fit okay but short and big at the shoulders.

 

Oh cool! She has lots if stuff that will work for her!

Since I ordered her, I've been working on a roombox for her... just finished it today:

My Twinky arrived on Friday while we were flying to Kentucky for the weekend so I just now got home and got a chance to open her up. I was too impatient to do a proper box opening but I do have some shots of the Pixxie box and cushion she came with from Iple if anyone wants to see them. I started a room for her but I don't have the box/wall foundation set up yet. She's got a great bed and some cute props but those pics will have to wait until tomorrow sometime.

For now I would like to introduce you to Philippa or Pippa for short. Since she arrived while we were at the races at Churchill Downs I figure that's a pretty good name for her.



I tried some other clothes on her. So far I have one white shirt from Clear Lan (lati yellow size) that fits her fine. I tried on a pair of LatiYellow sized jeans and they look like capris on her. Or high waters depending on the length you prefer. She's wearing 12mm glass eyes and a 6-7 Kana wig.

 

Kadepie - I love pippa! Is she peach skin?

Oliveoil - thanks! I made the furniture... Except for the little bench - I just painted it to match.

Thanks! I have a JerryBerry coming too who might just be her roommate for now. At least until Iplehouse releases the second round of PIDs.

 

When the release the second set I might need a real skin girl. Pippa is so pretty!

I'm super pleased with how the furniture turned out, I was making it while I was waiting so I wasn't sure if I would fit with her size. It looks much more complicated than it is. The vanity and yellow table are posterboard and dollhouse posts, the bed is polystyrene tubing. If either of want to try it, hit me up for some tips. I've been thinking about doing a tutorial.

 

Atomic_kitteh: I keep looking at your photos. I can't believe it is posterboard. Yes, do a tutorial!

kadepie: You are going to love JerryBerry. Here is a picture with JB and Twinky...

 

eeps all the new arrivals are too cute for words. OliveOil I love your little redheaded girl. I think I am going to find it very hard to resist turning my Twinky into a redhead. She makes a great little sister for your JB. Your person is looking either put out or sad about the new arrival! maybe she doesn't want to share the limelight.

Atomic_kitteh Your Ryu-ah's room looks fantastic - what a great welcome home for her. I really like that sculpt - I think it was a shame that the stock dress for her made her head look a little too football like - she has a really elegant shape when you see her in less high-necked garments.

congrats kadepie I hope the PG looks as good as the RS, because your girl is gorgeous!

I think my Twinky will be a couple of weeks away yet as I didn't order until near the end of the ordering period. I have a feeling that when I see the first Blooming, I will regret not ordering her too but at least I managed to get one Pixxie. I really hope that IH will release more sculpts in the future. My KId is also PG so I think I might try wigs on her tonight to see what will suit Twinky's skintone best. I haven't really thought of a look or character for her yet (let alone a name!)

 

I know right? I didn't give ryu-ah a second look until they posted the blank sculpt pictures! Their promo shots didn't do her justice!

 

That's too cute! I think Pippa will have a fun time when my JB Penny gets here. The bed I bought is a bit big for Pippa but I think it will work well for the JB. Guess I am on the hunt now for Pippa size furniture. Atomic_kitteh if you do a furniture tutorial that would be great!

Ryu-Ah was my first choice too and then I wavered at the last minute and ordered Twinky.

 

honeythorpe: Thank you! You will have so much fun with her. She looks great in so many wigs. Your PocketFairy sugar body dresses will fit her perfectly. I have been watching your Etsy. Mildred (Person) is not too happy with Twinky's arrival. I am anxious to see your Twinky in PG.
I hope someone posts pictures of Blooming. I was very tempted with her too.

It is really pretty easy to make - I'll have to come up with some ideas for some more furniture, when I do I'll definitely make a tutorial.
