  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.       I am still waffling about whether I can participate in this event at all. ;;^^ Christmas will be expensive, I just paid off a 2-week vacation in Japan from October (complete with shopping at all the Volks outlets), and then there is the "where will he sit?" issue to consider, and above all that, I still can't decide between Mars & Ryushin.

      I think my Volks Ryoya wants a sweet pretty Mars to sit on his lap & keep him warm. I've been trying to sell him on Ryushin, because I have wanted him for longer, but you know how it is. These dolls always have the last word. ;) Fransyung, congrats on buying your own Mars. He is such a lovely thing. I am hoping I'll be able to join your waiting room.

    8. Completly silly question here, but I'm looking at the YID option parts and it looks like these hands http://www.iplehouse.net/shop/step1.php?number=779 have a realskin option available. Is this true? Because I have a feeling I'm totally going to cave in and buy a RS Lion next month, and I would like to get these hands with him so that I can get him to hold a longstaff.

    12. That is good that the option-parts will be available in RS during this batch, so no need to worry about color-matching later. I'm still waffling like crazy over whether to get Mars or Ryushin, and if so which one-- but if I do buy one, definitely, option hands. Never pass up an opportunity for option parts! Those YID Sword Hands are also really nice for everyday poses, even if your boy doesn't hang onto weapons all the time.

      :love: Oh boy oh boy! You have no idea how happy that makes me - I was hoping somebody here would get a RS Lion, because I can't get one myself, & I want to be able to go look at him later. Lion is just SO beautiful! And the caramel-colored Realskin resin is so amazing to behold... put that together with one of Iple's most exquisite sculpts, and... :aheartbea

      (I have a seriously primadonna Tan Lion who is a lil'bit Highlander mentality, i.e. there can be only one. I do not think I would be allowed to buy a second Lion. XD )

      PS. Fransyung, try turning your calendar around so it faces the wall & try not to think about the waiting period! If it's less than 3 months, I will be very surprised. Waiting for an Iple special/limited teaches you to tap into deep Zen resources of patience you didn't know you had.

      though now I'm worried because they just put up a notice saying non-face up dolls are going out first.. placed my order about a month ago though @_@... I hope they'll send mine out even if she's a faceup.... though it won't be -too- bad if she arrives around Christmas time but I want her already XD lol

    20. In addition to that non-faceup dolls are going out first, they aren't going to be doing custom face up either. :horror: I wanted a custom face-up on the Mars I was hoping to order after they shipped out my Tania (so I could use the points on the order that includes Mars).

      I guess I'll have to get over the girly eyebrows on the default, or order him blank and send him off to a face-up artist when I'm able to. But I'd wanted custom from Iple to match the custom I got for my Ryan, as they did a really awesome job on him. Maybe this is another subtle sign that I shouldn't be ordering anything at this time? xP
