My engenuis plan worked!...Ok so it wasn't really that engenius. I just ordered the doll without a face up...oh alright, it really was so much a plan per say.

both of mine have faceups. the gentle soo ri is supposed to have the default and the normal soo ri is supposed to have the version 1 tan soo ri faceup without the face tattoo. ^^

 

Aww, right, those of us getting painted dolls would have to wait a lilbit longer. Makes sense. *deep sepulchral sigh*

I am getting the default makeup on both heads so that he can wear em both. Compared to Ilya's glam-rock-assassin faceup, they'll look like night-and-day... It will be such fun to have sculpt-twins who utterly don't look like twins! (Thus, stepbrothers.)

 

I'm being really brave and going to face up my first tan doll. I'm going to mimic Mani's face up except for putting the tattoo on the other cheek...I'm also going to flesh out a body tattoo that when they're stand side by side its a complete scene...so yeah...this will be challenging

 

Ehemm... appearently the face-up is not an issue as to when the boy will ship. Heck, I just left a comment here on DoA for one member already recieving her Soo Ri plus gentle, WITH faceup! Look'em up! *surprised*

I ordered mine without faceup, no shipping notice thus far... but I did not order the first day, think it was nov 26, so guess I just have to be patient... and study arrivals in the meantime I am way too distracted atm, as I just purchased Spinel with soom custom makeup from darkangelxix. Also, the msc that I ordered in november still has not arrived, so I am afraid I will be having trouble bounding with my faceupless dolls

 

Well then that shows how obsessive compulsive I am that I don't even realize what I've done. Must have ordered mine earlier than I thought...yup the 25th (shrug) *giggle*

 

I ordered mine the day they were first available, which i believe was Nov 23rd. I think anyway.

 

Ah I see now. To you others that ordered tan Soo Ri and ordered an extra body as well to go with the gentle head, those orders are supposed to start shipping this week. I guess they needed to wait a little longer for shipping out a bunch of two doll orders. ^^

It will be so nice to have them home. I'm hoping I'll have them next week.

Darlin, if I could make ANYBODY do my housecleaning, they'd also do my dishes, my windows, and my taxes. No dice. I checked. Even Volks LE dolls don't come equipped with tax-return software. *sigh*

Well at least they excell at standing there and looking cute. Gives you something worth cleaning the house for. God knows I'd never get it done otherwise. I'm not domesticated! (yes I meant what I typed)

It seems my pleading, threats, and general distain will only get me an attempt to hold my doll at the post office for a pick up tomorrow. This is against EMS regs. It remains to be seen if they will comply, or if some 'goody little two shoes' ruins my plans tomorrow... I may just be too sick to be at work. Never fear! I will prevail because...I'm obnoxious!!!!!
