    9. my boys are finally here. pic posting soon. i didnt take box opening pics. i was way too impatient.

      the faceups are gorgeous. though i did notice for some reason the gentle soo ri seems to be a lighter tone all around(the entire body/head) than the normal one. maybe he got more msc?

    11. riddley50 Thank you, he is a sweetie! :D He looks really nice with the contrasting blue eyes and blonde hair. Lol, I do sometimes try to make my boys wear shorter wigs, but they just freak me out and then I am back where I started :roll:

      My twins have arrived while DoA was down (isn't that typical), and I have been sort of "down" as they have no face-up and the weather is unsuitable for msc :...( I sort of freaked about spending 1300USD in one order and then not bonding, plus I recieved Soom Spinel the week before, loved him to bits and then was all confused about the twins when they arrived. Seeing pics of the ones with a faceup cheers me up. And I love the kneelocks, first time I have had IH dolls standing. Arolin will barely stand even with support, lazy bastard he is *loves*. I think I will name the twins Hugin and Munin, and try to find some nice black wings for them :) *blushes* ... and some clothes other than clutching a hat on their laps :lol:

Man, I wish they'd sell the whole leg parts separately so i can just replace Aki's, kinda like when Limhwa offered exchanging old mano bodies to the new ones, that'd be totally awesome but nowhere in the future.

      I haven't gotten around to trying many wigs on my lad yet, because I don't have quite enough small-sized wigs, especially in fur. ;; I guess I could put him in long sleek black hair so he can look just like his cousin & his halfbrother. But I think, despite his soft stoned expression, Samir is an independent boy under the 'gentle' look.

      This probably isn't his final look; I don't know his style yet. And I really, REALLY love the clothes that IP gave him by default. The tight fitted shirt, the excellent bluejeans, ::mwah::, so flattering. (Karim will probably steal them; they're pretty much HIS style.)

      And now, with another kind of bronzed Trinity assembled, we can see the remarkable differences in IP's tan resin from year to year!

      L to R... Gentle Soo Ri v2 ('08) on Lion's body ('07). Soo Ri v1 on his own old-style body ('06). Regular-eye Soo Ri v2 on the new tan body ('08). That's Samir #1, Ilya, and Samir #2.

      I personally think they got the mix just right with tan Lion (the body on the far left). His resin isn't too shiny or too French/waxy... and his color isn't too red or too green. This recent Soo Ri v2 run is a fetching olive tone, when seen by itself, but when I put it on last year's tan, he looks like a green man on a brown man's body. XD But ahh! knee-locks.

      By the way, this Triple Tan Soo Ri lineup will probably not happen too often in the future-- Karim gets very grumpy when he's separated from his body. XD (Samir has also borrowed Karim's hair for the occasion, so neither of Karim's heads is in a very good mood right now.) Samir's 'default' expression will be the Gentle head, but he'll feature the open-eyed one from time to time. They're both such special heads. <3

      I'm sure Samir will be irritated at me telling his whole sordid family history, right there in a public photo gallery... but screw him, I paid for him so he gets to act in MY soap opera.

      You mean are they going to start making the knee-locks standard in their boy bodies from now on? Probably. They seem fond of sticking with advances in design as they go along. (Then again, they once introduced & later took away the excellent thigh-rotation joint feature on the boy bodies... I never imagined why they'd take it away, but they did, so I'll never second-guess those Iplefolks!) Or, did you mean will they start selling the leg parts separately? Probably not, is my guess. They haven't historically sold option parts at all, at least until the sword hands came around. But still, those Iples can always surprise you.

      And a big awww for Ravnsvart... ;; Cheer up! We will keep you entertained with painted-Soo-Ri photos until your weather clears up. I can imagine, it'd be depressing having just ONE of these heads sitting around unpainted; but two full twins? *sob* It must be agony. We'll do a reverse raindance in yr honor. (The chill sloppy weather right now does make me glad I ordered faceeups on both heads, I gotta say.)
