Iplehouse Tan Soo Ri Limited V2 with bonus 'Gentle' Head

Jenny you have a gorgious group of boys there. I can see that independant streak in Samir's glance. Iple did a very nice job with him! I see your first SooRi is more red tan and the new boy is more coffee tan. It's the same for my boys. Iple is a lot more consistant with their tans than I'm use to. Dollshe boys cover the spectrum!

MieAga, the difference in the 3 tan resins is actually pretty pronounced in real life; I'm afraid it is more of a 'spectrum' than shows in the photo! Well, Ilya, he shows up clearly, is much paler & redder. Does Mani look that pale/red next to his new twin? (Sometimes I forget: The V1's are two years old, so it's impossible for them not to have changed some color by now, even those who've lived under a drape the whole time like Ilya has.)

The resin difference between Lion & new Soo Ri, although they're almost the same level of darkness, is that new Soo Ri is much more olive. Lion is more purely brown. I wasn't kidding about the comical effect of Samir's head on Karim's body; he looks positively green about the gills. ^^

So, alas, they really can't swap each other's bodies & parts easily. Ilya would sure like to wear one of those Sword Hands, because they'll hold his gun! But, heheh, when he does, he looks like he's had a dead man's hand stitched on at random: FrankenIpleStein.

*sigh* He was supposed to be a sort of a mama's boy. XD That sure ain't the face of a mama's boy, though. So that slate's been wiped! Now I have to let him tell me his personality, instead. I'll let you know what I come up with! I'll think of something. He'll be fabulous. ^,^

He's actually a rich redish-tan to his twin's 'coffee with cream' hue. my new boy doesn't have the olive, he's almost bland/flat in color actually.

Isn't that just how it goes. You can have all the intentions in the world for 'who' a doll is; and when they come home, they scoff at your petty plans, and skip off in a different direction. Dios is shy. I thought he'd be mischevious but instead he stands behind Mani, like he needs to be protected. He's quite the whimp compared to the 'evil mastermind' I had invisioned. Kinda hard to do the good twin/evil twin thing when they aren't on equal footing. Maybe a new face up will help. We shall see

 

Awww~! That is just too cute. "Some evil mastermind you are, prettyboy!" ;; I never realized Mani was supposed to be the GOOD twin. Now it's too late to flipflop them, eh? Well, if Dios can't be the good twin, maybe you can paint him some Evil Eyebrows. That always goes a long way towards making someone properly evil.

But eyebrows or no eyebrows, Dios may just have his own ideas about what kind of twin he's supposed to be. And fageddabout your intentions for him... after all, what do your opinions matter?... you're just the person who PAID for him an' everything...

Everyone's new boys are striking! Has anyone had any differences in color on the heads or bodies of the new Soo Ris?

 

Well Jenny, the 'evil' twin isn't suppose to be something you can figure out. Oh well, as you say, let the muses have their will. Darn if they listen to me anyway! LOL!

Thekittybox - I think everyone had good matches. Sealer can sometimes lighten heads on tan dolls as it's not truely clear when it dries. But the resin does actually matche.

 

Yup. Head seemed a touch darker without the faceup, but once I got the MSC on there, everything matches up beautifully!

And curse you Jenny! *shakes impotent fist* I was sitting out on the back porch the other day, reading a book and letting TangetsuGo keep me company, when I realized he DOES have olive green in just the right light!
He's an ARMY BOY! Olive Drab. *snerk* Oh dear. And here my dad was a career Navy man, and my husband did four years himself as a Squid.
I'll NEVER be able to tell them about this.

Aww, TangetsuGo should be fine if he stays away from wearing too much red, or other things that'll bring out his oliveness. Samir only looks green when he's next to Ilya or Karim, & they all have a lotta skin showing. ^^ By himself, he's fine. Actually, I can't claim that their Olive Skin resin formula isn't realistic-- my own skin (I'm Italian) has that same green cast when you put me in the fluorescent lights of, say, a Macy's dressing-room. (I swear: Looking at 69 inches of green cellulite reeeally makes a girl wanna spend $70 on that swimsuit.)

Samir is wearing white and blue right now, and that makes him look like a toasted almond with blush on. Not a trace of green. Have TangetsuGo stay in that fabuloid blue aloha-shirt of his! *yum*

And then Arolin the fabulous Barron could join in, and all would be stickily happy.

Okay! So my mailman officially ROCKS!!!! My package is currently in his possession, and he found the address to be unreadable. So instead of slapping a cannot deliver notice on it and returning it to the sender, he calls me on my CELLPHONE to ASK ME WHERE I LIVE!!!! Now... I'm not exactly sure where he GOT my cellphone number.... but who cares?! It was just way cool of him to go that extra bit to get me my package...

Sadly, I'm a work right now, so he's just going to be leaving me my delivery notice....
But I get off at noon so I'll be getting him from the post office later today!!
Alas... no internets again untill tuesday, though... so no pictures till then!
