Lol, I always considered my dolls, teddybears.. uhm, even candy shaped like animals to be "people"- I feel evil every time I sink my teeth into a marcipan pig. (So I usually don't, hehh). All of my dolls are of course, to me, people- only some of them find a more special place than others. When I say "healthy", emphaseize the "" (referring to numerous posts and threads made by people who consider their dolls to be items of resin).

Very off topic, sorry.. just recalled checking into a motel one summer holiday when I was 18 and a hardcore, black leather dressed metalgirl, but still carrying around my plush Golden Retriever- nearly making the host die of laughter. And this christmas, Arolin and Hanna traveled with me to all locations as I did not have the heart to leave them. (And my dirty boyfriend claims they had a great time sharing one travel bag). I love being unhealthily obsessed by my dolls (actually I find it quite healthy, lol). Oh, it is so much fun being crazy when it comes to dolls, makes me feel young again

 

Dolls can be a medium of self interpretation and expresion. Healthy or no, normal or no, I think it comes down to this:

Oh, but they MUST release Barron in tan. They will, and they must. Someday. Because I said so, that's why. I dunno what their plans are-- they used to hint that there wouldn't be any more Soo Ris released in tan, and yet here we are, so anything is possible. I guess we could ask them, but I am going to wait until my new tan boy is home before nagging them about the next one. I'd still like to see a tan Louis just for curiosity's sake... but Ryushin & Barron would make me very very very happy in tan. Don't get me wrong, I like Iple's BW & NS resin colors just fine... but for some reason, their men's faces just knock me DEAD when they're translated into tan.

As for dolls vs people vs being better than people: I know my Ilya is worse than most people, because he is mostly me. QED. This is what makes him so much fun. ^^

But I did pick up the twins' wigs along with ShuShu from Luts today- although I am afraid they might be way too big. Does Soo Ri have a smaller head than Barron? I also gave in to my hunger for boots, so as soon as my own New Rocks arrived, I ordered SD13 New Rock style flame boots for the twins- I am sort of.. uhm, like a pregnant lady expecting labor any time and preparing the boys' arriwal

Anyway, luckily, the wigs are just slightly too big for Arolin, so he still looks very nice in the red one (Hullo, I just recieved my 450 dollar doll-parcel, and all I can think of, still, is how hot my IH man looks every time he gets a schmexy new wig, lol). Hurry up twins (omg how will I find the time to do anything but admire IH hunk when there are 3 of them in the house? )

 

LOL! I just got in my tan boy's shoes and eyes tonight!
I'm such an idiot, I popped them on my white skin Soo Ri, and am giggling like a loon. It's going to be perfect!
I can't wait for the wigs to come in! It's all coming together one little piece at a time, and I'm getting more anxious for the biggest part - the doll - to finally get here so I can know if it's all going to come together RIGHT!

And *laughs knowingly* I know it's tough doing photo shoots and stories that involve any of my other boys at all! I'm always cooing over my two Soo Ri boys. They are my Love.
We'll both be incomprehensible for several days... or weeks, after the boys make it in to our homes!
Nothing but burbling, drooling, and cooing... with maybe some giggling and sighing on the side.

Ohh, it's Cenarius's boy? ;;--;; She's getting rid of him! Waah! Well, I guess she needs to circulate the population, if she's to keep enough space for that massive legion of dolls she's got over there. I think his name is Chimera and he is some sort of demony shapeshifter guy. Well, I hope he goes to a home as loving as the one he's coming from.

Interestingly: My Ilya (v1) also has those white marks on his neck. I don't know what they did to those v1 tan boys' necks when they built them-- wrestle their heads on with pliers? Because I think the white marks are scrapes, or gouges. Some of Ilya's are quite visibly gouges, and other shallower scrapes look like smudges that just won't wipe off. It is annoying when you want to photograph him looking upwards or tilting his head, because they show up clearly then; but since Ilya wears long hair, they're usually hidden in shadow. I dunno how to get rid of them, so I learn to work with them. Just another thing to add to your list of Things to Watch Out For With Tan Resin.

Frisk your moneytree/husband again just to make sure, aernath. You might find a stray dollar hidden on him somewhere, and even if you don't, I'm sure he'll enjoy it. ^^

 

Haha, I just love the tone frequently used by IH lovers What a great idea Jenny! I would be picturing myself doing the same thing to my hub, except I think, as him and I are like SD and Mecha Angel, his journey hanging upside down from my grasp might be rather painful (But hey, he might pay me to stop?) Ok, so my violent personality automatically thinks "frisk" means "hold your man by the ancles and shake him till there are no money left in his pockets." I guess that most non-masochistic men will prefer friendlier methods.

I don't think those neck-marks would be a bigger problem over here, as I usually don't let in men without long hair But still, let's hope the new boys are more or less flawless.

 

Oh man! Hanging him upside down by the ankles! Wow, I guess Norwegians have a much more, umm, enthusiastic way of frisking somebody on a first date than we do. *snerk* Anyway, over here, when someone frisks you (checking your clothing & pockets for weapons, etc.), usually they start by patting you all up & down your body. All over. Very different. If it's a cute person, sometimes even a pleasant thing. ^^ But I don't think they bother hanging you upside down unless they're positive you swallowed their diamond watch, they're associated with the Mafia, or if you dared to make a joke to the TSA guards at the airport. :P

Well, of course, I can't swear that some American men DON'T like being hung upside down & shaken by their ankles by the women they love. Some people are pretty kinky.
