    2. How did you find out already? I haven't heard from them and I ordered and paid in full the first night ........although I don't seem to get the order confirmations through email anymore either. I hope they didn't try to email me and I just didn't get it. I'm guessing I won one too if you ordered after me and got one................I wish they would just post a list on the board like they did last time. I'm wondering what the "free" clothing gifts are going to be.

    3. This idea makes my heart leap with joy and delight like no other. It truly does. This would be FABULOUS. They have the perfect skin tones to work with already, too, that would create a wonderfully realistic palette, and there's no question that they could do the faces brilliantly.

      I will gladly fetch the pompoms and dance about merrily to cheer this one on if I have to. (Note: anyone who has actually seen me in person would start begging Iple to do it before I have the chance to actually do this. See, this is a well-conceived plan on my part. *cough*)

    5. Is Aernath still in here? - She used to have the most wonderful Tan Soo Ri girl hybrid, who would totally look right in that saree that everyone wants to see. To make a whole line of Bollywood superstars, all they'd have to do is make a whole lot of Soo Ri relatives that all have that magnificent profile. <3

      I had written them a Q&A with the blushing instructions for my order.... They included the news in their reply. I don't know if they were just excited, or if they just wanted to get the news out of the way while I was there, but I didn't expect to hear so quickly. :>

      Maybe emails will come later. And I'm sure they will be posting a full list of winners (like they always do) after they've got all 30! I just placed my order the other day-- so if you ordered on the 1st day, of course you'll be on the list. You'll probably be right up top. ^^

    9. Oh there she is! :aheartbea Yoruichi is so pretty. Look at that marvelous nose. That's like the type of face I originally hoped they'd be putting on the EID Women - a face with strong + elegant bones. Instead, they did chipmunkcheeks skijumpnose Jessica. XD Imagine a big strapping EID Bollywood Queen with a Soo Ri nose, a killer rack & 2 pyramid nose-studs. Excellent.

    10. Yup. :) Ordered and received! Well... sort of. Since I was in the middle of moving from Florida to Kansas, I had them ship him to my friend in Colorado. :sweat This way she knows I'll visit... :XD:

    11. Finally made it to the Soom store and saw their new Iplehouse display. It was neat seeing EIDs and SIDs in the resin! I'd only seen an EID boy once before . . . Honest impressions of the SIDs: love the size and more solid builds. Sadly, between his open mouth and some not-quite-right-placed eyes, poor Storm didn't have the most intelligent expression. However, Soo knocked me out. I didn't really care for her official pics, but IRL she's absolutely gorgeous.

      Phew, JennyN, I'm so relieved. I read your post that you knew about the sword and was frantically searching spam filters and all... because mine was ordered and paid for about five minutes after he came up for sale. Aernath can vouch for this... I was an hour off in my calculations for timing, and even distracted myself by VACUUMING for an hour while I waited!

      Yes, I am a sick pup.

      But I was so distressed that I hadn't seen anything about the 2nd sword anywhere... *phew* :)


      ETA: Wow! Timid! GORGEOUS shot. I want her clothing. It's ... wow.

      Storm & Soo do both look rather jet-lagged. *zonk* -_- But if you got them home & adjusted their eyes a bit, I bet you could get those two to wake up.

      One always has to take such gallery displays with a grain of salt - that harsh overhead lighting, it makes everybody look like they have a raging hangover. (If I had to have a hangover that bad, I'd want to be reclining where Asa is. She has it made. ^^) But everybody's clothing & makeup looks just perfect. These fullsets are gorgeous.

      PS. The tiny Soom Shamans are hilarious. XD

    17. JennyNemesis- You are right about eye placement too, I think they do look like they all had 1 too many, but gosh I wish I had not seen those pics of Soo. Now I have to decide if I want her or Tedros. I really really want another SD girl, but I want Tedros too. Can't have both so I will have to flip a coin when I get the money next week.

      I wonder if there is any chance that I may have gotten a katana through the event...hard to say...

      This is actually the first time that I have ever purchased BJD clothing. I have made everything myself up until now (except for one dress which I won in a raffle), but she was just so beautiful as is that I couldn't resist all of her. I feel so bad for ordering them, but so happy too. Hehe. ^_~

    19. Hey can anyone from the States tell me how long from the time they paid for their doll it was till they received it? I ordered my YID on the 7th and it still says it has not shipped out? From what I have read on here it looks like it takes awhile to get the Iplehouse dolls? Am I silly looking at the shipping status daily....

      Oh and it is just the basic Harin doll..no faceup

    20. I am so tempted to purchase Tedros via layaway. He's just too awesome. Plus, the outfit and the sword and everything is just too perfect for the character I have in mind. Guh. I might have to starve to death for the next few months just so I can afford to pay for him via layaway. The one thing I cannot do right now is sell one of my dolls to purchase another because they all mean a lot to me but zomg, being able to sell at least one would help so much.
