Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.       Even though Storm looks a bit derp-faced in the photos, I think with a custom faceup, proper eye positioning and the 'right' wig he will make a wonderful upgrade for my boy Tarek. I am not going to order him right away; I'm going to wait until towards the end of the ordering period to see if I can manage to sell some things so that I can maybe pay for him in full (getting the full set, so that's quite a sting to the bank account) instead of doing a layaway. ^^

    2. Wow, the pictures make me like Storm much more than the sale pics did. He's intriguing.

      I have to admit to squeeing around in utterly geeky delight. for the last day, that I apparently was one of the first three people to order Tedros. I sure hope he strikes me as hard in person as he did in his sales photos. Every time I see him next to the other two I kind of go "gulp...he is so HUGE..." but we shall see! And he will have two swords!! :) (geek mode resumes)

    7. Gah. I wonder how hard it would be to mod a normal pair. Probably not impossible -- and I think the normal feet can be ordered. Too many pretty things at once. *shakes a fist at the sky* That, and I would sorta want Asa in that style in something other than NS. *ponder*

    8. surreality - I recently modded both of my Mecha Angels to have geta feet and it was super easy! That's the only reason I'm trying to get in on a split for them for my Asa... :lol:

When they say, "they have no plans to release her in Realskin right now".... that means that the Realskin Soo may be released later, at some unplanned point in future, and she may not.... but they just don't want to promise anything yet. From experience, we've seen pretty much everyone get released in a Realskin SE at a later date! So, don't give up all hope-- just bide your time.

      I personally predict that Realskin Soo will pop up within 6 months, but that's just because I'm a gamblin' sort of gal. Maybe we should get a pool going! Do I hear 4?... ^^

    13. I would really be surprised if they honest-to-goodness never released Soo in RS. Like JennyNemesis said, they seem to release everyone that was as a special event once in a while--just look at previous dolls in "IHD Limited" that are no longer available.

      Open-mouthed dolls tend to look either a little mouth-breathery, or a little way-too-excited to me. Iple has managed to make their open-mouthed dolls look like neither of these things, but they still don't 'speak' to me. Maybe in RS, Soo will look like a whole different doll; that is part of the magic of RealSkin.

    14. If they said they might release her in RS, that might hurt current orders for her. The real skin is just so pretty and feels so nice.

      I love the Soo sculpt... Get her now or wait and hope for real skin?? Argghhh!

      I'm interested in ordering now mostly so that I have the opportunity of getting those lovely limited outfits & accessories--not to mention the geta feets. Oh! And Mr Tedros Brown! :drool

      I think you'd be safe waiting for RealSkin, if that's what you want, but I understand that uncertainty isn't the funnest thing ever, too.
