Iplehouse Toyko Story dolls discussion! New SID boy Storm & SID girl Soo

No, the Special Edition sales periods usually all last about the same period of time. They can't be making specials all year, when they've got basics & limiteds to do too. Those folks are busy!

 

I wanted my Soo to come with a sword too, she would make a cool assasin with such a sweet face like hers no one would think she would be so dangerous. My hubby said she was dangerous to my wallet, but I will be happy when she gets here!

 

We are fairly lucky to have a month without a warning that the "event may end early." Don't worry, Iplehouse will find other things to separate us from our money. If there is one of this series that you missed and really want, you can probably get it second hand. Some people will find the dolls to big, or find something else they would rather have more.

 

About this we can be certain! I wasn't planning on/wanting to buy any more dolls this year, but even from the promo teaser for Tokyo Story (where you could only see Tedros in shadowy profile), I knew I was done for. It's such sweet misery, though!

This is also true, thankfully. I really wanted the Asa fullset, too, but could only afford one. Hopefully the stars will align & someone will be looking to sell theirs (med bust, mobility joint, please! ) when I have the funds together.

Thank you! I think it'll work out w/Asa. But of course this teaser pic for the new Noctarcana Circus dolls has me adding to my doll wishlist yet again. Oh Iplehouse, why do you keep doing this to me!?

 

Ok... come ON Iple. It's been six weeks today since Tedros hit the "paid" category for me... eagerly awaiting a change in status.

 

I want my Soo already!!!! I have no idea when my other dolls will come either....this waiting is torture!

 

I know what you mean!! For some reason, I've gone into "Order Status" several times and looked at "Before Shipping" even though I KNOW that it is going to say "Before Shipping" for weeks. Still I go in and look "Before Shipping, Before Shipping, Before Shipping." It's definitely obsessive/compulsive.

The last several dolls I purchased were bought used from seller here in the US so I paid, and 3 days later I had the doll. I've gotten spoiled and forgot what it felt like to wait and obsess.

I am getting Soo also so I'll be thinking of you and can't wait to see both of our girls!!!

 

RobbinA- I can't wait to see her as well, did you get Full Set? I did along with the hands blushed as well. I just had to have the works with this one.

 

Iple told me today that my Storm would be shipping within this week which should mean tomorrow but may actually mean next week. I certainly hope he comes soon. I ordered and paid for that boy within minutes of him being available.

 

That's exciting Patrice! I can't wait to have a little Iple-doll gathering at the next meetup.

Yeah, still no shipping notices? Anyone? Aww.... ;;^^ I knew it wouldn't really be "mid august" as they original estimated, but I was at least hoping for "late august". Hope they ship soon!

 

That's exactly the situation I'm in. I'd have had the order in the instant he came up if I hadn't needed to um, go to another room of the house for a moment . So the last few days have been TORTURE.

 

Of course, I ordered on the penultimate day of the order period, so I have a couple more weeks (at least) to wait after the first ones start arriving. Still, impatience is my middle name!

 

Patrice, how did you get in touch with them? I posted a query on the Q&A but I seem to be the only person who has looked at it, and I haven't had a reply.

I figure mine should ship about the same time as yours, but still, I'd like to know they actually read my question, I guess...

I wonder if you caught them over the weekend? Iplehouse has always been very good about answering the Q&A posts in my experience.

I fear that my shipping status stocking has reached new and silly heights...I hope they start to ship soon! Please, please, please...
