Shin, did they send you anything good for the event gifts?

 

Sure they did!! They sent me IHW_M049 in a precious colour, something near purple, that isn't even sold on the website. They also sent me the super cute Balloon Long-T Set, which is perfect and I wanted it so much!! My girl is wearing all of that in the picture ^^

 

I'm still waiting on my Soo Full Set, hope she gets here soon too! I am just itching to try out my new camera and spam her with it!

 

She looks great Shin, and the free gifts suit her well! ^_^

Soo looks so different from the Tokyo story version...she's quite beautiful! I like faceup A the best...her lips look luscious. Wonder if it's a different faceup artist?

 

Hmm...it does look like they might have a new faceup artist.
I'm not sure I like the new eyelash style, it's very... | | | | | Um, spaced? Not sure how to put it. Hehe.
The eyelashes on Soo's A faceup are not like that though, so maybe it's just a change of style?

Those "triangle" eyelashes are the old classic Iple painting style. I had thought they'd stopped doing those! Everyone used to have 'em. My old tan Soo Ri has them too, I think they're cute on him.

Resin color also makes a huge difference in how the sculpts look. Their NS is so pale, it really makes you notice how tawny the Realskin is. Storm looks like a different person too-- and I must say, that "B" faceup is exactly what that sculpt has been needing. Nice pale lips and heavy brows, and he looks great with that short hair.

 

Ok, so I knew I loved Soo when I saw the LE, but I was not prepared for this. She has completely stolen my heart. I love both those faceups on her, she looks stunning! I'm so so so happy she's a basic and I'll most likely have to get her sometime next year, and wave bye bye to being able to buy anything ever again. If they have got a new faceup artist, I really do like the change!
And I agree with you JennyNemesis, the B faceup is just what Storm needed, he's wonderful ^^

 

Storm looks really handsome with B Type faceup! I love that wig on him and the way they styled it! I should have gotten Basic Soo with A Type makeup, I love the NS version.....will see if I still love the Tokyo Story version when she arrives.

 

Bahaha. Storm with the B-Type faceup and that short black wig looks totally like what I'm going for with mine. Just paler.
Hopefully its not too much longer before they start sending out the rest of the TS dolls. I'm starting to get antsy for mine. ^^

 

I asked Iplehouse about the Storms and they told me packing process was delayed so shipping notices might not come until next week ¬¬U My sister is now dying, Storm is for her XD

 

Is it just me or does A type Storm need lip balm and some water? He seems quite parched with those pale lips and dramatic lines o_Oa

 

Maybe they took the Edward Cullen approach to it, as in: Pale and dramatic = hit with the ladies.

 

I think so...he even has Edward's colour scheme, with those golden eyes. xD That was one of the first things I noticed.

...that said, I rather like the pasty-pale version...he needs long black hair and a book filled with emo poetry and sketches. *giggles*

ETA: ...and it just occured to me, the B type looks a rather like Adam Lambert! xD

 

Haha, worked for me! Storm did nothing to me before but when I saw him like this I started to like him. He's be a great vampire with this pale style and really nice as Edward.

I got my Soo today! She did a record: it only took 3 days for her to get here! None of my dolls have been thit fast before, it's usually takes atleast a week. I'm not complaining about it! Anyway, Soo is gorgeous, I really love her! Iplehouse gave me a long, curly & blond wig and those lovely grey SID woman baggy pants as a event gift. I wanted those pants so I was lucky to get them for free.

She's gorgeous Anniestar! I've never loved a blank sculpt this much before Soo. And I figured out why I love her so much, she looks like my first RP character! Can't believe I didn't make the connection before.
So no Storms yet?

 

I actually thought the very same thing about Lee's B-Type X"D I'm not too up to date on Lambert's looks though so I just saw "random pop idol" for Storm. But yeah dude, totally. *giggle*

 

I'm so glad that it looks like they're sending awesome stuff for the free gifts! I was afraid I'd end up with something hideous. There was talk of a "trade" thread for that, but it sounds like we may not need it. OOooh, now I'm excited to see what I get!
