No, not all of the Tokyo Tedros came with this brow style. I think the different faceup artists may have their own faceup techniques. As a matter of fact, when I took him out of the box, I thought the furrow was in the sculpt like an IM Hound and had to actually touch the area to make sure it wasn't part of the sculpt. The promo shots did not show Tedros in this angry look, but I like it. I've always been a fan of those angry guys like Heathcliff and Mr. Rochester. I love this guy and his unique look.

Now I'm curious -- haven't actually looked that closely at the brow style on mine. (It's... been a wild couple of weeks. I'm recovering at this point).

Hey, the lilac wig is gorgeous! I suspect you could put a dead possum on that boy and he'd still be fabulous. I loved his look in the second shot, too.

And the girls!! They are all so stunning. I think I hear mutterings in the background. "I can haz?"

 

Oh, I don't know Clara . . After seeing the lilac style, Rudi just might have to try his out, too. Your Christian doesn't seem to be very fazed by the colour. It's very cosplay, you know . . Dang, JennyN . . your wisdom floors us! All this time, was thinking it was just the opposite and it made his sword get larger?? You have to be very endowed with something, to swagger around with baby purple on your head!

The green with purple would be quite striking . .

 

Hahaha, well now I'm not sure what effect the purple wig has...but I'm enjoying listening to everyone try to figure it out! ^_~

Here's some brow spam on mine.............I don't see him as really angry...........just majorly intense, LOL! He's definetely different than my RS NC Tedros was though, even though they both have the facial hair. Here are both versions side by side. Makes me kind of sad I sold my NC version.............course I couldn't afford the Tokyo version without letting the NC version go, LOL! Tokyo Tedros left, NC Tedros right

 

Thank you Jackie & Mencheres! I know how you feel - I'm going through the same Want Twins agony right now. ;; Love the Circus Master, but am trying to keep eyes on the prize (that brown resin).

Not that I don't think Christian there wouldn't make a charming Easter Bunny, of course; come April, he'll need that wig to wear with his lavender puff-tail thong.

Those brow-furrows are sculpted into Luo...! But not Tedros. I did the same thing too, checked his forehead to see if he'd gotten his intensity sculpted right in. ^^

I do see the usual artist-variation, but basically yeah, he's just way different from the Circus Master... I guess the Tokyo version's supposed to have the whole Thunderous Shogun kind of look, goes with the whole fullset concept, so the angle on all their eyebrows is extra-steep. I'm nervous now, I hope I get a pair of eyebrows that Hassan can actually live in! Eyebrows are the cornerstone of everything. I can't picture him without the facial hair. This is my first re-shelling job so I'm all jittery. ;; Dude should be here any day now, though.

Don't worry, Christian, your ego will be fine! Until Easter. Then I'ma come back for you and that lavender wig.

Hassan #2 has probably slept all the way from Seoul and not even realized he's landed, that's just how jaded a road-warrior he is. But yes, it is damn hard to keep my mind on all this crap while he is slumbering away next to me.

Work is utter hell today-- am webgames QA engineer, with 4 new releases and a virtual-goods purchase system breathing up my skirt-- and I have not even had the time to take the box home, on lunch-break, let alone open it! I probably won't get to the actual unveiling until at least 8 PM Pacific time. ;; But promise pix ASAP.

ROFL . . . and the image that last sentence conjures up is enough to make a true believer out of me! "Never question the master!" Besides you are going through pure agony right now. Not much harder to bear than a new hunk of resin sitting by, sealed in his box . . while you have to work! May the hours pass quickly for quitting time!

Luluna, the one here is more calm and quiet. . . he must have some poker players in his background! . . However, he and Clara's guy must be twins separated at birth at Iple . Oh good grief! Iple House has cloned the guys!! They are sending them all over the world!

HOLY CRAP MY TEDROS IS ON HIS WAY HOME!!!!

I was afraid I may have to sell him, but it looks like I may have a long-term temp gig lined up for next week, & after seeing these yummy pics of that gorgeous resin, I'm glad that it looks like I'll be able to keep him after all!

 

Oooh! Hassan #2 is making me giddy! Wowowow! But he's not even really Hassan yet. Right now he is still Fullset Man, because I sprang for the full works & had to put him into everything. This hakama & haori set is absolutely incredible-- though I have no idea if I got everything layered right and fastened right swordwise. He looks stunning.

But I have such awful lighting in my apartment that I can't even bear to make a judgement on his eyes, or take a picture, until I get some daylight up in here. ^^ I can already see the brow-pucker-blushing, though. You know why we all didn't see that much Angry in the sales photos-- his shaggy bangs are always squarely in the middle of his forehead, covering up that pucker-blushing. How odd! One would think they'd want to showcase that special forehead in the sales photos; it is a remarkable paintjob, and that little added nuance makes him pretty damn swoony. Our Hassan does not have a wholesome past, so this kind of ravenous intensity is right on the menu.

I had better get to bed, otherwise I won't get up early enough to take pictures.

PS. Congrats on the shipping, Starzzz! Hope you get to keep him - your sweet little jawbone is gonna drop off and clatter on the floor when you see him, so go smash the last of your piggybanks if you have to.
