Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. I can't get my eyes of Tedros. This is soooo bad! I've just spent the rest of my money for an incoming FCS and Yo-SD Kakeru and thought I could start saving money again for some other doll plans after that, but now Iple releases this hot guy in such an amazing skin colour and outfit!! He reminds me of Musashi of the Vagabond manga series!! I cannot sleep anymore!!!!!!!!! :...(:...(:...( *calculating the layaway plans now* :doh

    3. It was a hard decision, but when I was waffling I had someone email me and ask to buy my RS version...........I decided if I let him go I could get the fullset Brown skin version right away, and hopefully get the free sword too, LOL! It was SO tempting to keep them both, but I am running low on space, and while I have 3 Luo's, love them all, and can't see ever letting them go, I had sworn to myself I wasn't going to duplicate any more scultps. Tedros almost got me for a minute, but I am now firmly back to the "only one of each sculpt" rule, and determnined to keep it! I REALLY wanted the NC to be in brown skin and was kind of disappointed he wasn't, (although when I got the RS version in hand I love him too) now I'll finally have my brown resin Tedros though. Have you decided what you are going to do yet?

Yeah - I'm going to wait for No-Beard Faceup photos of Brown Tedros first, just to make utterly sure - and then I'm probably going to just buy him. <3 I mean, that WAS the original wish, that the Circus Master would be Brown in the first place! So if I don't, I'll probably never forgive myself for passing it up. ^^ And I've already got a friend lined up who'd like to adopt Hassan's old shell if I get him a new one, too! - It seems that it is not difficult to re-home a Tedros.

    5. Ok, I am hoping someone can help me- I really like the brown Tedros, but: how stable is the color in the long term? Will he eventually go green, or is that just the RS? I have two real skin I from Iple & I am always worried about them turning green-(i have had one for about 8 months & so far she is ok) I want to enjoy him if I get him. I don't want to be constantly hiding him worrying.

    7. This is super early to even think about, but does anyone know of a source for EID sized Kimonos? I want to get the Asa fullset, but she can't wear the same Kimono to the tea house every night!

    9. emmelia, I still have a tan Soo Ri from '06 and a tan Lion from '07 who have never turned green. My brown-resin Luo Strongman is also unchanged (although he's only been home since April '09). If you keep them out of the sunlight, you shouldn't have to worry.

    15. Yeah well. You KNOW I shouldn't have done it. (and that it was inevitable... show me a guy in a kimono with a sword and it's alllll over. I'm so predictable).

      Actually got one home repair squeezed in between dollages ;) Hehehehe... the vintage 1984 water heater that was original to the house said "oops! one shower too many!"

    17. I see the "composition of goods" has been added!

      So Tedros includes standard hands & the 'special' hands he's wearing in the pics, but it appears that he only includes the tabi/geta feet.

      Asa comes w/high heel feet & tabi/geta feet...it looks like standard flat feet are not included, but then it also looks like the space between the toes is small enough that it won't really cause an issue w/them wearing standard shoes? Hrm....

      Also, I've seen both "tabi" & "geta" to refer to the foot w/the big toe separated; can someone who is more versed in Japanese and/or Asian culture in general clarify the difference for me? Is it two words for the same thing? Does "tabi" refer to the foot position where "geta" is the name of the shoe?

    18. "Tabi" refers to the sock, "geta" refers to the shoe, basically. So in doll foot terms, it means the same thing as split toe feet. The big toe is separate from the rest of the toes to allow for the tabi and geta to be worn correctly. As opposed to the shoes you sometime see with a bit of clear elastic over the toes to give the illusion of geta, which Volks often does.

    20. *gnaws her fingernails* I'll be waiting until the next paycheck to decide how I'm going to try to swing this one, but she's too pretty to not bring home. Mostly, it's trying to see if I can comfortably swing dealing with her in one payment while keeping tabs on the one layaway collection. Since I am not actually a money tree, that's... unlikely.

      I want to be a money tree when I grow up, seriously.
