Oh, she's lovely & looks very sad! Sad & wistful. I'm waiting for the same (truffle with the grumpy faceup), I'm so excited.
Thank you @auntbear , she is 22.5 cm tall Thank you @vignoche! I always seem to like sad looking faces, I have no idea why! I look forward to seeing your grumpy faced girl when she arrives
I'm really enjoying this little sweetie! I hope she has some new friends to hang out with on here really soon!
She is perfect dambuster01! My peanut Annic is waiting on her wig for pictures. I love how well she poses and her sweet grumpy face. She even smells good
So sweet, her pretty knit dress looks super soft, I love her whole outfit. My girl came in the mail as well, but is also currently bald. Her hands are so detailed, I think that's my favorite part.
Thank you @bajib .... I look forward to seeing your Annic when she is ready to meet her audience Thanks @vignoche I'm very happy with her. The lovely dress is indeed really soft, it was made by a friend of mine who died some years ago now, so it's very special to me as it reminds me of her, she was such a great knitter and all my dolls benefited I hope your girl will come and join us soon too. All these little baldies!!! My Annic now has a name, she is called Anais. She got to try out a new outfit which I bought for another doll at Dolly Day in Barcelona back in June. She looks like an old fashioned little school girl!! My Enyo, Pip, also got a change of clothes, he is now ready for winter weather....
Anais has been through the clothing box and she found this little skirt that belonged to my childhood Sindy from the late 60s, early 70s...yes I'm showing my age!!! Hoodie was from another doll who's brand escapes me now.... She has such a sad but grumpy face, I love her!!
i wish i still had clothes from my childhood, but i was pretty rough on my toys and any that survived went to my younger cousin. i go back a little further than you and can remember having a penny brite doll when i was tiny! it's a cute outfit. do you know here the boots came from?
Thank you @auntbear. I wasn't really into dolls that much as a child so apart from some things being washed quite a bit, quite a lot of my stuff survived!!! The boots are for Blythe and I bought them some years ago from Cool Cat, but it looks like they still have them on this page if you scroll down. Not sure they're exactly the same but look similar: ☆ Cool Cat Collection Shop. Doll Accessories ☆ -- Simple Type
@auntbear I just checked the boots on my Enyo and yes, they do fit and they reach to just fractionally above the top of the knee joint, so the knees can still bend ok with the boots on. Hope that helps but if you need any more information, just give me a shout!
Your Annic girls are so pretty, lovely to see them all. Here is little Oli when he arrived during the heatwave last summer
