1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Is It BAD To buy Popular dolls?

Dec 29, 2010

    1. I would certainly hope not! I don't see any problem in buying popular molds...most/almost all the dolls I have and want are extremely popular. If you want to ease your mind I'll have you know my collection consists of a Migidoll Ryu, Jina and Crobidoll Yeon-Ho that are extremely well known. I also really want a Soom Dia and Migidoll Cho. So please don't have any worries<3 By whatever mold you love and don't worry about whether they're popular or not!

    2. I believe that you should buy a doll based on what you like and want rather than based on populalrity. Yes, it is true that people buy a doll because they like them and many people can have simular taste and therefore it becomes what's called "popular". There is no need to feel guily for having a certain preference of a type of style of doll.
However, there are also those that buy dolls only for fact THAT they are popluar.
It's like watching a movie. Some people watch a movie because they saw they trailer and knew it could be good, while other watch a movie based on popluarity and reviews. Both are completely normal^.^
      I hoped this helped.^^

    3. I think you should just buy whatever doll you want. It doesnt matter if a doll is popular or not.
At first I sort of thought this too. I was worried about getting a doll that wasnt popular acutally. In the end I know it doesnt really matter as long as I want that doll. I have ordered the doll that I wanted and am waiting for it now.
