1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Is it unusual to have more than one doll waiting to come home?

Oct 18, 2010

    1. This makes me feel so much better about myself as well. I had an Aphan on Layaway in June and ended up buying a Volks Yo at the Dolpa in NYC.

    2. That type of situation is just one I'm sweetly jealous of XD

    3. I think it's fairly common around here- but I personally like to get one home completely before I start paying for another. That's just me though. It has to do with the 'bonding' process, it's easier to do with one doll at a time.

    4. Hmm, I'd say it's pretty common for me. The moment I entered the hobby I had two dolls on their way. It's actually odder for me to only have one doll incoming at a time. I like to save up a lot of money then go on shopping sprees unless I see a really good deal.

    5. That's pretty normal I think. I'll be getting 3 boys at one shot~ But I don't do layaways because it makes me feel that I'm using "future money" and I don't feel comfortable with it. I purchase once I saved enough to make the purchases in full.
