Is there anywhere you refuse to take your doll? why?

I wouldn't want to bring my doll when my relatives are around, because they think that I'm a nut case when I last did that. I'm also not allowed to bring my doll to public places anymore (yes, I was allowed before but I was stopped) except when there's a meet or if my friends consent to it, since my parents wouldn't want them to think that their daughter is insane (when I'm really not).

 

I refuse to take my doll anywhere that isn't my house or to a doll meet. Maybe when I get braver (and less self conscious) I'll sneak R & G downtown to the more historic parts and have a little photoshoot, but at the moment the thought terrifies me.

 

I don't take my dolls anywhere where they could be knocked out of my hands(if I'm carrying them), or easily get dirty. so:
no amusement parks
no place near children
no place near a lot of animals

 

i dont bring them to school or anywhere else ppl from my school might see me with a doll ¬_¬
but, if i'm out of town, i bring them e-veh-ry-where
i dont bring them to work either because i dont want them to get dirty D: i work in a garage...

 

I would feel a bit silly carrying around my dolls, being an adult. Unless I actually went to a meet. As has been said before, they're simply too fragile and expensive.

 

I'll take mine anywhere that I bring my purse! Of course, I have a puki, so it's way easier to just pop her in my purse than if I had, say, a Dollmore Lusion!

 

school definitely..there will be many questions and I think it's against my school rule..
Mall..people will think I'm crazy

 

i've taken one into town before and that was a little bit of a bad idea, nearly lost his wig XDDD;;

i never took him into college because of people's veiws and shit

 

I take Ren everywhere! So far she's been to work (I work with preschoolers and they love her!), school, family's houses, camping, SCA events, conventions, restaurants and other public places. I've gotten lots of compliments on her from the most random of places! Of course, she's also fun for chasing around my friends who are scared of dolls... She does the zombie arm thing so well!

 

School The kids there are absolutely brutal and would do ANYTHING to be able to make fun of and bully someone. Other than that, I'd take my boy nearly anywhere.

 

Once my girl gets her clothes, I will take her with me pretty much anywhere. If people want to be judgmental, they can go ahead. However I will restrain from taking her places where she is more likely to get dropped, stolen, or dirty.

 

Oh I so want one of those. But I think you'd need a stroller to carry that outside for longer than 5 minutes lol She's heavy I hear

 

Are you getting SD or MSD?
And are you going to carry her in your arms or in a carry bag?
I would love to have some kind of... contraption where you can put the doll in and hang her on your shoulder or across your chest. And some are going to say "that's called a carry bag" lol Not the same thing. You know what I mean

I think I am just going to take mine in her carry bag and take her out when I settle somewhere. Might be a good idea too, as she won't get dirty traveling either.

 

Any place with a large crowd (theme park, school, etc.) scares me. There are too many unknowns.

Oh yeah, the dog park would be a no no too.

 

Wal-Mart... diffenately Wal-Mart. Too many people... *shudders*

 

um, I dont take my doll to to many places unless im with another doll owner. But the worst places for me alone would probably be a mall, a hospital, a graveyard mainly cause graveyards creep me out with the real dead people in the ground and such.... those r prob the worst for me

 

I don't take my boy anywhere. I live in a weird part of my town, so I'm not gonna take any chances.

 

I live in a rugged mining town on the west coast of Tasmania. The people here like football and the pub, knitting and down to earth activities like having babies. I don't think they'd understand a dollfie in their midst, especially when it's being carried around by a townie that raves on about politics and similar stuff they really don't want to hear. A dollfie would be the last straw and I'd be tarred and feathered. Nice people, though.

 

I take My dolls with me to a lot of places. But I would not take them to work with me. I work as a cashier at a big upscale retail place so it would not be appropriate for me to have them with me. so They would have to stay in the break room. So I would be A nervous wreak allday worrying about them.

 

Hell no! Only in my room or some anime event with other people!
If it got stole or something i would never sorry myself!!!
