It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. I miss MissAlly. :...( She has sadly passed away many years now. We used to talk every day. She helped me build so many of my dolls.

      We became friends when Heliot God Master went up for sale at Soom. We spent all night hooting and howling waiting for the big release. We often said that we wished the Heliot Waiting Room on here still existed. So many friendships which have endured to this day were forged in that room.

      Here is a recent picture of my dog.

    3. This thread got me thinking about some hobby friends I once was sharing DMs daily or even having meetings with. I haven't been very active anywhere for a long while either, so it's only logical that we lost touch. I went to check on their profiles to see what they have been doing and found out most of them haven't been seen here in years... I guess it's normal, we change and move on, but it's still sad.

    4. As many have already said, I miss the buzz that used to be here. I started in 2007-ish, when I was still in my teens.
      I was too shy to really post anything, I mostly just remember spending hours here admiring everyone's dolls and their pictures. I could refresh the page and OH! there was something new!
      I remember more dolls than I do their owners. :sweat
      But of course, with that being said; it is terribly sad that some of those owners have now passed or gotten out of the hobby. :(

    5. I really miss all the handmaking artists, specially the seamstresses and photostories. So many of photostories inspired me to expand and create more of my little world.

      People like @RiverKelpie, @mendokusai, @Xi-feng, @Banshee, @psyence, @Foxxian to name a few.

      I just hope they are all well!

      I also miss how easy it was to make friends back in the early days vs now - but i think that is just everywhere honestly.
