Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases.     1. Apparently he is not for sale o.o Why would a company release teaser photos of a sculpt and use it as part of their banner but not sell it? I just don't get it sighhh

    5. I own an Island doll Eleanor. I got her because she was relatively cheap, and I needed a girl doll <.< in hind site, i wish i'd waited and purchased a different doll, but she is a decent doll. the resin quality seems fine. her knee and elbow joints are great and she holds her pose well enough.
      the face up she comes with is probably a 5/10 [i got her off ebay and she came with the free faceup so I cant complain]. the biggest problem with her is that she does not stand on her own. her ankle joints just have way too much room to move around. if you play around with her long enough she'll stand but not worth the pain. she also arches her back but that could just be because she's strung too tight.

      overall she's a nice doll

    8. My boy has an issue like that too, but it's mainly because the resin is extremely smooth and there's too little friction. Have you ever thought of sueding her? I used hot glue. Since the environmental resin is so smooth, it doesn't stick very well, so take some fine grit sandpaper to the inside of the cup part of the joint

    9. I'm seriously considering an Eleanor or Vivian in the next year or so and I'm kinda curious about the resin Island doll uses specifically the blue. The Leshy's I've seen seem to have some transparency to them but I found one pic of a larger doll in the Blue and she looks pretty solidly colored. Does anyone have an experience with their blue?

    15. Yes, I made his uniform, it is very alike to Russian generals uniform in the first part of XIX century. Make up is mine as well. Tried to make him look not so glamourous as on promo.

    16. Sorry for the super late reply Stephanie, i tottaly missed the msgs on this thread. I bought mine off ebay and the seller [dollonline2009]was great and super quick. she's still offered there. i had my doll with in a month of ordering. i'll be redoing her face up soon since the company faceup is fairly generic although pretty.

    17. thanks for the tip shi-no-ryoushu. yes i've thought about doing that, but i've been having bonding problems with her so i've kept her as unmoded as i can. but i've been thinking more and more about it and with 3 guys i should probably keep at least one female figure so i'll be giving her another chance with a custom faceup and i will probably take your advice on sueding :)

    20. This is my Island Doll Eric. He is in snow white, I took off the black eyelashes and put in white, his gray eyebrows were just perfect. His lips are just yummy. I posted him in the Island Doll DB too.

      Here is another one of him in a Victorian style suit. I originally wanted to make him into "Jem" James Jian Carstairs from the Infernal Devices series but when I got him he and the character didn't click.
      He has a new role now and we are both happy.
