Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     4. Well, the weather's still dark out here, so I didn't get the chance to take the nice pictures I wanted. Here's one, just to show you what Cookie looks like. The eyes are temporary, she'll be getting new green ones as soon as my AS Leira arrives (I ordered eyes along with her to make up the amount needed to qualify for AS's free event head).

    8. so much cute spam from when I was here last! :) I did a bit of eye switching on my little one, still haven`t really ordered her any clothing though.

      Anyone try the Dear Doll size clothing from Dollmore? I`ve been curious if they fit as they have a couple nice pieces that I wouldn`t mind getting.

    13. Curious and maybe a request, but has anyone taken the time to really see how these kids can pose?

      I'm kind of waffling between a Cassandra and a LTF, and while we all know LTFs can pose like dreams, the Island kids have so much going for them that I just can't hit the buy button on either!

      I'm very tempted to buy an Island doll myself, I love how they pose and in my opinion when stringed with the right tension, they are a good posing contender for the littlefee...

    16. Oh yeah, their posing is excellent, I'm so happy with my Cookie! I took her to the zoo the other day and I had her climbing trees and standing on her head on front of the upside-down jellyfish, no problem whatsoever! And she sits quite nicely in the arms of her big sister Leira, I really don't have any complaints. Of course, I don't have an LTF (yet, I'm saving for a Shushu though) so I can't compare!

    18. Are the leg joints pretty similar to other tiny's legs? I'm going to get an Apollo (eventually), and I was thinking of putting Peapod hooves on him. They seem to fit most other companies tinies, but no one's tried them on an Island Doll yet.

      I'd like to get Apollo and Artemis twins someday!

    19. The peapod hooves won't match very well unless you get the 'Japan style' resin. The upper body of the doll will be translucent and the hooves will be opaque if you get the environmental resin. Translucency isn't something you can easily blush over like a bad color match.

      Unfortunately my Island Doll head is on a 5star body so I can't tell you if it would fit if the translucency wouldn't bother you.

      The peapod hooves are about 2.5 inches around the knee, so if you can get a measurement around the knee, you can get an idea of whether they'll fit.
