Lilith spam! Happy New Year everyone!

 

She looks great! Is that a new wig she has on? She looks different from her other pictures, but maybe its just the lighting

 

Wow, Lilith is such a beauty! What deep expressive eyes she has! Love the wig.


Skp, I'll have Aditi back soon, she has to ship back to me. I have seen pictures of her faceup, it's all done and wow does she look fantastic, I can't wait to show her off! I'll be posting a pic as soon as I get her.

 

Thanks guys! Yes it's a different wig (she stole it from another doll for the pictures but that's alright XD ). Her eyes are German glass eyes (the hollow kind). I'm still trying to find the right pair for her.

guls: Okay, that makes sense then! She definitely looks good in it. What kind of eyes do you have in mind for her?

 

Lol Thanks! I was thinking of getting some ED eyes in 16mmW, I just can't decide on a color.

 

Enchanted Doll eyes, fancy! I can see why you have such a hard time picking colors though, they have a lot of options to choose from. I'm partial to the bright, fun colors myself, but it depends on the look you're going for. I think brown eyes would look good on your lilith if you were trying to go for a realistic look though, it'd play off the red lips nicely.

 

Lol actually I was thinking of brown maybe. I really don't want anything to clash with the red lips. XD

 

Great minds think alike I suppose She just looks like a browned eyed girl to me, Ill be interested to see what you do with her

 

Ok I got my Aditi back and wow is she beautiful! My confidence was not misplaced! I took a quick pic of her. I will post more in the Island Doll pic thread but here is one of her faceup. I could not be more pleased! It's a little blown out from the flash but she is so pretty! Just what I wanted.

 

Oh my gosh, she looks great! I love her new eyebrows, they match her hair nicely. And the lips go really well with her eyes. She's just gorgeous I'm glad you had such a good experience with getting her customized! Did you happen to get any other customizations on her while she was being painted?

 

Thank you thank you! The girl who did the faceup is only 19, can you believe it! She gave me the cutest little painting of Aditi, like a tiny canvas painting of her face, I am going to take a pic this weekend of Aditi holding her portrait. I could not be more happy. I trusted Aditi to her after looking at dozens of her faceups, I just knew she was the right person. She did a mani/pedi and hand and foot blushing too! So lovely! I'll try to get pics this weekend and post them in the Island Doll thread. It has been just a really terrible work week, just exhausting and I want to try to get some nice pictures that really show what she did. She also did (for free) some tiny modding that allows Aditi to sit up now instead of just falling back. She actually got Aditi to stand on one foot! Wow was I surprised! She bathed Aditi all over too before sending her back in a cute little dress she had, one of her old doll's dresses along with the little portrait. It was so sweet. What a great experience. I have decided that if I do get a SoulDoll that I am going to get it without a faceup and have her do it. But that is a long way off. I have Aditi here by me in her new outfit with her adorable corset on and this purple taffeta skirt, can't wait to get pics! I'll post when I get the pics taken! Hopefully I can do her justice, I am no photographer. People here are so good with photography, have you noticed that?

Oh my gosh, that's a lot of work! And a painting and dress too? That's crazy, you won the dolly spa lottery I'd be really interested in seeing the painting, since I get the feeling that anyone who's good at painting doll faces would be a good painter in general. I bet Aditi is just sparkling with awesomeness now that she's been all done up. Especially with the hand blushing, that's always made doll look a lot more human to me. Once I get my hands on some MSC I've got plans to some blushing myself, it's actually a really fun thing to do, all the joy of painting without having to worry about symmetry too much I'm really glad you found someone you like so much who is so good at what they do. That's never as easy as it seems!

And I'm sure you're photo's will be fine, the standards here are pretty all over the place anyways. I've seen everything from DSLR stuff to cellphone pictures. You really can't go wrong. The key to good photography is just a lot of light, and taking a lot of pictures. If you take 100 of them, one of them has to look good lol

Also I think double posts are okay, I've seen plenty of them.

 

Ok actually I'm going to just make a pic spam thread in the other forum. My pictures are not that great I just have a point and click but I don't feel right posting multiple pics here. I do have a pic of her portrait and her manicure. I tried my best to make them "artsy" or whatever but yeah, my husband is the one with the DSLR, lol, not me. Though he has an extra little Canon Rebel he says he'll teach me how to use. But I have found it takes more than just taking a picture. There seems to be an art to it. o_O Ok I am going over there now and will make the spam thread. But I do hope to see some other Island Doll pic spam in that thread!!!!

 

Oh boy, pic spam thread! I'll certainly post there with you, especially since I just got my replacement for my old camera that I accidentally killed the other day. I don't know how artsy I can be, but I can try I'll go over there and stalk it now, I'm really look forward to seeing all of the details of Aditi's new mods!

 

Guls207, I love your tan Lilith! I've actually been planning on buying one in the near future, hopefully next month in fact, so it was really nice to see all your pictures.

My Aditi got a new wig today and here it is in all its glory. It's actually more of a grey and lavender color but I monkeyed with the picture.

 

Eeeeee! Aditi looks great in her wig! Does her name mean anything in particular? I have a boy (OT in this thread) named Aditiya.
