Guls207: I see your Lilith got her new eyes! She looks great with that nice warm brown color, it looks very natural. Did you end up going with enchanted doll eyes, or were they some other brand? Also, just curious, what resin color is your Lilith? I just can't get over her perfect tan lol

Umaeril: Another beautiful picture of Aditi I see! I just love that wig, the curls are so perfect. Mohair is definitely a good wig choice.

 

Am I the only one who loves the Crystal sculpt? She was the first doll I really liked and I'm hoping to get her soon.

 

Certainly not, Crystal is very regal looking. I honestly haven't seen any of the Island doll mini's that I didn't like anyways, they're all really gorgeous I hope you get your doll, it would be nice to add another person to the clan!

 

Thanks! I'm trying out glass eyes (I think these are CIG) in her for now to see if I want to keep this color for her. If I do, I'll get an ED pair close to it. I have to admit I love switching up her eye color. She doesn't like getting dressed up in fussy clothes so I like playing around with her eyes and wigs. XD

Her resin color is tan (but the lighting makes a huge difference in how she looks). I love how she looks in natural lighting.

 

Hi Guls, Aditi, from the Rigveda, sure, the same as Aditiya! One of my favorite names. And thank you about her wig, I am really happy with it.

Anime, I thought Crystal has a very sweet look to her. But I just liked the Amy sculpt better for myself. I hope you get the one you want!

 

Oh, that makes sense, it's better to test with something more economical pair of eyes than it is with ED ones. I really lover her with the brown eyes, but your right, it's really fun to change it up. That's the great thing about bjd's its really easy to customize them. You can go from bleach blonde with blue eyes to black hair and black eyes in only a few minutes lol

And she's a tan? Alight, I'll remember that! The tan on the website looks so dark, I wasn't sure how it would look in person, but on your Lilith it looks great. I've been idly window shopping for a tan doll, it's good to know that island doll is a good contender, especially since they pose so well.

 

Anybody know which clothes fit the Island Doll Amy best?

 

Hey guys, I had some time on my hands, and since these dolls are somewhat difficult to dress, I went ahead and typed up a little database sheet so we can keep track of what does and doesn't fit.

I set it up so anyone with the link and edit the document, so feel free to add what you know for both sizes of the female doll and the the male doll. All that's on there currently is what I've found fits Bobo.

Sorry that's not much help to you Umaeril at the moment, but hopefully it will be more helpful once some people have added things.

 

Holy moly Skp! That is an excellent idea! I'll have to look up those boots I bought and put them on your list. They are huge but they do fit my "Amy" sized doll. I think I have the receipt for them somewhere, I think...maybe. Hopefully I can find them. And that one dress I have maybe I can find out which company made it. I'm thinking though that custom clothes are the way for me to go. Or just make it myself.

 

I'm glad you like the sheet! I figured it may be of use to someone at least Thank you for trying to add things to it, despicably since I have no idea what fits Amy sized dolls. Island doll made a real strange move making two different sized MSD's but in the end they're all pretty sculpts regardless of size and that's what's important!

Snowy: Glad you like the picture I spent about as long cleaning the glass as I did setting up the picture, but it was worth it lol. The view is from the porch of my parent's retirement condo. They're a few floors up so they get a really clear sight line of the waterway. And Bobo is an Island Doll Aggie, sporting her favorite outfit form Mintoncard.

Umaeril: Thanks! Bobo is definitely a beach girl, I always seem to get the best photos of her while I'm there.

And I see Aditi is looking fabulous as always with those stunning green eyes of hers. It looks like she's gotten over the trauma of Claribel stealing her wig well And I really like the floral backdrop, the little red flowers go nicely with her lips.

When I first got my Lilith 2 years ago (I think I ordered her the day she was released XD ), Island Doll didn't offer blue resin as an option. I was trying to shell an OC and Lilith had the EXACT face I was looking for. At that time I knew getting a doll cast in blue was close to impossible so I got her in tan. Now I get to have twins, one of my actual character who is an alien, and one "human" form of her! XD This is great! ^_^

Eden is so beautiful! And wow, a blue one? I'll have to go and look that is amazing! I am just agog at the faceup possibilities!

 

I hope it's ok to share doll concepts here. I've been playing around with the idea of a blue Lilith (and my doll's name will actually BE Lilith, I swear IslandDoll read my mind when they created her!). XD

Thanks! This particular shade of blue is one of my "power colors." I am very tempted to get her a blonde wig, but if I do, I'll never get Daft Punk's Interstella555 out of my head!
