1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Issues With AOD(AngelOfDream) - Purchased Direct

Aug 6, 2007

    1. Got a Gu from AoD about two weeks ago, and he was pretty much perfect apart from being packed in an MSD sized box, and lacking the promised privacy pants. The resin quality is lovely, and he poses brilliantly. His arms were a bit tightly strung, but that's easily fixed.

    2. I bought a 1/3 boy body from AOD around xmas time, it was packaged beautifully in an SD sized box, well wrapped, with no problems at all. Communication and shipping were fast and excellent. He was tightly strung but I fixed that easily enough, and now he is the best body I have in the house.

    3. Oh dear, I have been considering buying an AOD, but after reading some people's experiences, I'm not so sure. Although it sounds like more recent buyers have had no problems, I now have these horrible images in my mind of poor Chinese workers packing dolls in a dark, dirty factory and getting paid a pittance :(

    5. yeah I bought my sd boy body at xmas time too and he was packed well in a sd sized box with wrappings etc... guess it might be hit or miss but they seem to be getting much better...

    6. ooh gosh I hope my Ducan will be okay...i might message them to ask them to ensure he's in an SD box... :0
