I am going to buy a second hand Trudy....sadly now all the adonis tinys are out of stcok and it´s imposiible to find them new so i have been forced to look in the second hand market, anyway my baby is going to be super cute
Well, I'm not sure but I think they have order periods similar to Lati. i read that basic dolls can be ordered at the beginning of 2010. But buing a doll second-hand (well, I rather say "adopting" :P It sounds nicer) is not bad thing at all. I adopted my Lati too^^
That's true, they do have ordering periods like Lati. But they seem to be sort of out of sync with themselves, sometimes releasing Rosebay and sometimes Adonis. I'm not exactly sure what their schedule is, or if they even have a definitive schedule, but you should be able to get them from J'aime again in the future But if you are terribly impatient like me, then the MP is a good way to go!!
I didn´t know about the ordering periods, anyway the adoption is not a bad idea for me, and i don´t have to worry about the customs risks... Anyway apart from Trudy in the future i want a Pong, so if the order period it´s open in future i would order the boy to have a cute and tiny couple. Another question: do you think that lati or fairyland pukiFee clothes would fit into a adonis j´ aime doll?
Well Lati Yellows and J'aime Adonis dolls are almost the same size so I'd say they fit into the same clothes. I'm not familiar with PukiFee at all though....

Hello and greetz from Germany First off, welcome to the forums and congrats on your first bjd, vito is adorable! Well, jaimedoll is a Korea-based bjd manufacturer and since these dolls are pretty much made specifically for you after placing an order, you can only buy them from their site or second-hand. And these dolls are not mass products (like for example Blythes or Pullips) so there are only very few retailers/shops in Europe with doll parts for the most popular dolls/companies. When it comes to ordering a BJD, you have so many options (different bodies, extras like wings, face-ups etc) to choose from and then the doll is made after your taste. It's kinda hard to import these dolls to Italy right? I have heard about this once (but with Blythes). You can always find great dolls on here (as well as on flickr) and as long as the sellers are located in Europe, there is no problem with customs. You could also find a fellow European J'aimeDoll fan on here, place an order together and have it shipped to the other person's address. That way you would have to pay additional shipping costs though. Anyway, at least I could help you a little. I'm not too familiar with BJDs yet so I'm definitely not an expert but if you need any help with basics, don't hesitate to contact me I wish I could speak Italian though - I know all of this information is really overwhelming at first especially when it's not in your native language. You'll get used to it soon!! xx
