J'aime doll discussion part 1

Asking about an event would be a good idea! Usually, Jaime is very quick in answering questions.
I don't have a sleeping Vito... there are a lot of great pictures on flickr, but only for the OE version, not for the sleeping one. Sorry to be of no help.

Trudy is really beautiful!! She was my second choice when I pondered about ordering either sleeping Ara or her. Sadly, there are not many pics of her (one with a different face-up is on flickr).

 

I see her with a vampire face-up on there! :O

Yay! I just found this thread. I am the proud owner of J'aime Crybaby Ara. I will post pics this weekend.

I am looking for wig recommendations (size and maker) and shoe recommendations (sites or names of manufacturers).

Lilly is an Ara Adonis CryBaby and her sissy, is Hannah (PKF ante)

 

Awwww, your Lilly is such a cutie! (Hannah too, of course^^) Ara is one of my most favourite sculpts. She's close to perfect in my opinion (especially her cute little mouth). I only have her as a sleeping version, so it's nice to see her with open eyes.

 

These are both adorable girls!...I just ordered my first Jaime-doll! sleeping Trudy with a Tiffany head!
can't wait to meet them! it looks like PukiAnte and Ara are similar size.

 

Aaahh..thanks guys. Yes, PukiFee and J'aime doll are very similar. PKF head is a bit larger, but they share the same clothing including shoes! yay!

I wonder what association Jaime doll has with Lati as there looks to be some similarity in both dolls?!

 

I've heard some murmurs, but I don't have any knowledge about Lati and J'aime. You are correct in that there are lots of similarities.

When I get my Jaime doll I'm sure I will be able to locate shoes for her very quickly as I have a doll shoe fetish!! LOL!
All my other dolls have way too many shoes!
Sometimes I feel like the Imelda Marcos of the dolly world!!

I'm not to sure what the shoes size is on the adonis girls...Ill have to take a look!

Anyhow I like Boneka for Pukifee...DDE has some now!
And Doll Peddler had some for a while..and Boneka's website as well!

I have also found some darling shoes on thisisblythe.com...the handmade ones by Princess Sara ( Round toed ones only )
to fit Lati Yellow and Pukifee, they are adorable!
Sometimes they run out, however you can fill out the notify me next to the shoes and she's pretty good about doing that when they come in!
So I'll be on the lookout for more shoes for your Jaime as well as mine!

I ordered a Trudy sleeping face basic doll with a Tiffany head.

I loved the soft faceup on the Tiffany head...they were out of bodies last time I checked!
Hope they release some tan girls again they were so adorable!

It's interesting how Jaime-dollls have some association with Lati, but no one know how!
Even a very close friend of mine didn't know anything about Jaime dolls and has been collecting Lati for years!
I love Ara's little face!...i think she goes on my wish list too!

I found some darling shoes on Etsy. MyOwnLittleWorld is one of my favorite shops. I also ordered some shoes from RubyRedGallery online.

Wigs....I'm still lookin' for them. Perhaps you'll share some links of your favorite distributors.

I was hoping for a link from my Flickr, however I don't think that they are in the right format for this interface.
I too love MOLW!!

Not all wigs are created equal as i'm sure you know!..I do like MOLW and for other Mohair synthetics facetsbymarcia.com has nice quality wigs and she ships quickly..I also like sleepingelf wigs..I found a company in china that lets me order directly from them as long as it a large enough order!...I will look up there name and send you the link...they have decent quality at extremely affordable prices.
Shipping is a little pricey, however if you order enough of them ..perhaps others included in the order ...then its reasonable sharing the expense.

Sometimes I will end up altering the wigs myself like trimming up the bangs if needed or tidying up the style a bit.
I'de love to see your leggings!!..how awesome to be able to sew for your dolls!!

Here's a pic of Lilly in her newest tights. She's not that happy that I have not taken the time to make her a shirt or dress though.

I wanted to say how adorable your little Lilly looks in her new tights!, also I have the info about the wigs!!
I have made friends with a lady in the company...her name is Suying...the wigs are very affordable, however I think they only send out large orders...like I said perhaps others would be interested in purchasing some on the same order!
Their wedsite is dollswig.com...I think you will have to look under BJDS category..they have Mohair...synthetic...and synthetic mohair...they even have one or two Pukiwigs...I think they are a wholesale supplier!! to major doll companies!..I lucked out finding them by accident...in one of my surfing the net obsessive days when I was under the weather a bit!
So if you see anything you want to order perhaps we could get a few people who might want to order as well...unless you want to order enough wigs to last a few dolls for awhile on your own...I'm not sure what the least amount you can order would be...so I recommend writing to Suying and ask her!
