Jointed hands vs Regular hands?

Oct 9, 2016

    1. I like jointed hands of 1/3 or bigger scale . For 1/4 they seems strange. At one hand jointed hands give you more photo possibilities, but their aesthetic is not my choice, I think.

    2. I like jointed-hands in some cases, they are poseable and good for holding something in hands. But it is SO inconvenient! You should pose it every time and it can be hard to pose them in natural way. I have one pair and now I think that I wouldn't buy second.
Maybe I will change my opinion then. For example, maybe I will want to buy also girl hands.

    3. I wish to buy Venitu and try to get joined hands for him.

    4. I like the idea of jointed hands since they allow for more poses and expression, but I don’t own any dolls yet to really make this decision. I eventually want one of my dolls to hold a violin, so I think jointed hands would look the best.

    5. As ridiculous as it sounds, jointed hands kinda creep me out. I like the sweetness of a molded hand. No, they can't pose exactly how you want them to, but they give character. Having said that, I am curious about jointed hands... maybe if they belong to my boy they wont seem 'creepy' to me.

    6. I adore the zenith girl hands! I've been looking for measurements as I'd like to put them on a Supia, but not sure if they will fit. Please would you tell me the measurements or wrist they will fit and also hand length? They are gorgeous!!

    7. Been thinking about jointed hands! I feel like I probably wouldn't get joints for MSDs because that's just too much effort for such tiny posing. I'm leaning more towards jointed hands for my SDs, I've been against it first because I'm not into how many joints there are and how that looks, BUT, I saw a photo of jointed hands inside gloves and I realized how gorgeous posed gloves are. I want that so bad!

    8. I don't like how joint hands look. They are assisiated with skeleton in my mind))
But I've seen some food examples of posing on photo, when the doll is not very close, so you pay attention only to stuff in hands.
I think, joint hands is a good additional parts for some special cases, but as instant solution model hands really look better.

    9. Every time I trying posing join hands I’m getting really annoyed. Regular is much much better.

    10. Definitely prefer jointed, maybe more so for SD size rather than msd. Always wanted my dolls to have as many realistic joints as possible!
