1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Junga D Skull Discussion

Jul 27, 2010

    1. Wow , the skull is pretty unique !

    2. I think thats cool for someone that may do a Ghost Rider BJD or something like that... way cool IMO...

    3. I was doing some work on one of my 60 cm dolls today, and tried the Skull head on the body just to see how it would fit. This is a B&G 60cm SD sized body.

Pictures are here. There are photos of front, side, and the bottom of the skull as compared to the bottom of the regular doll head.

The skull head was just about the size of the regular doll head, but I noticed it was a little bit narrower side to side. The place where it sits on the neck is shallower, and you will note this makes the skull seem to sit up very high on the neck. The slot where the S-hook goes in is also smaller, but it didn't cause any issues.

      Hope this is helpful!

    4. Thank you for those! I'm wondering if putting the head on a MSD body would work better, especially with the neck. Still, it's great to see him on a body!

    5. Meet Jimmy! :P Here he is on a Custom House Jr boy body. The neck hole is a bit big, but he looks great with a wig on. The fist hands are Luts Kid Delf.

    6. Mine's been here a few weeks now. I really love this weird little thing! XD

I think it can work fine on SD dolls depending on the look you prefer. Mine is on a Soom Breccia bod. It achieves a monstery look really easily---

I'm ready for Halloween, can you tell?

    7. Sara she looks way cool... and the head doesn't look to bad at all..

    8. Wow Sara! She looks amazing on that body!

Here's my guy on the Unidoll limited (60cm) body, masquerading as Count Ludwig. Without all the neck fluff the head looks really narrow on the body. But it is a Skull and the body has Flesh, so I'm really not surprised. ;)

    9. *Sara* - that looks.. SO awesome. Absolutely legitimate.
I love the hands with it, too!
      VERY COOL.

      What an awesome head.

    11. Wow Sara! She looks great! I love the effect with the long spidery hands and the dress and veil. Amazing!

    12. @ *Sara* - wow, Breccia's body does make for a perfect fit with those lovely long clawed fingers. Dooes make for a wonderfully monsterous look!
@ Sadomina - love your blushing work! Love those big golden eyes of Morty's too... they really work well.

    13. Eeeek! Sadomina, Morty is adorable!

Count Ludwig did not survive... The Plague Doctor at the faire could not help him. :P

I still haven't figured out how exactly I'm going to blush him or what body I'll put him on for keeps. I want a little herd of these guys!
