1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Junior Delf Discussion

Jul 1, 2009

    1. My Terra is home. I love him. Of course his body was immediately stolen by my Wintery '08 head as that is who the body was purchased for. For anyone who was wondering the body and head are a good fit. It has the same neck gap issues I've seen Jr. Delf owners complain about but no different than the Jr. Delf head on the body. I like the slightly under developed body as it suits the character, and it is a cute little body. I will post pics soon, just fighting with photobucket now.

      As for clothes, I had some Dollmore SD clothes waiting and they fit nicely. Dollmore's SD sized clothes are smaller than normal, they don't fit my Delf 3 body but fit the Jr. Delf. He is also wearing a shirt from Tata's paradise and it fits him well but I think the pants would be too long.

    2. Curious bump.

    3. I just got my Winter 09 Event head and plopped him on a second hand junior delf body I bought, the resin matches beautifully.

      Unfortunitly, I'm not liking my Winter 09 head much, and want to trade or sell it for a Terra - but I think they've too recently just come out to find any in the MP. :|

      But if anyone was wondering, Winter 09 head and junior delf body resin matches.

    4. Seconding the resin matchโ€“ I also have a Winter Event 09 head (Wintery 09?) on the JDF body. The only complaint I have is that the head seems a little big proportionally.

      I really like this body as my first true double-jointed doll. It holds poses really well and stands nicely. It's a bit kicky, but that is easily solved if you suede/wire it.

      (I may also mod the Winter head... the eyes are uneven and it's starting to bother me!)

    5. Terra's beautiful! :D

      For anyone who owns a Terra - do his eyes seem asymmetrical in person? They look slightly asymmetrical in the Luts promo photo set, but seem fairly even in owner pics (not that there are many owner pics - only 2 threads in the gallery at the time of this post) and in the Terra modeling Luts' newest clothing. Maybe it's just me being paranoid because Wintery's eyes are uneven (;_; gdi Wintery I'd have snapped you up otherwise).

      Anyway, so cuuuute! I think Terra is like what Bory might look like if he grew a bit older, or what Abadon would've looked like when he was younger.

    6. I don't notice it, but that may just be me. I'm not so good with that kind of thing.

      here is my boy, face up less and wigless with borrowed eyes. I was doing a size comparison with the Yuu for another member.

    7. Bump for interest. JDF Terra is on my wishlist and I'd love to see more pictures of him (or any other Junior Delf, for that matter!). :aheartbea

    8. I have a question for all you Junior Delf owners.

      My friend and I will be buying our Junior Delfs soon and on the website it says that their feet are 7cm. There are a few shoes that are 7cm inside, but they're mostly made for MSD, like this pair on the LUTS site.

      Our question is, will their feet fit with enough squeezing and pushing?

    9. I haven't actually measured my Jr. Delf's feet, but his feet are easily as big as my delf boy's. He wears normal SD shoes, I can't imagine MSD shoes fitting him. I don't presently have an MSD or any MSD shoes so I can't try them on to be sure but he fits snugly in the SD boots I purchased for my Lu-wen.

    10. Thank you! That's great to know! I didn't want his feet to swim in bigger shoes but it's good to know his feet are in the same range as a Delf Boy. That gives me a good reference. :D

    11. Can anyone post pics of the body posing? And am I right in thinking that a Junior Delf body is just the same size as a Delf aside from shorter legs?

    12. Does anybody know if hands from other luts dolls like a delf or senior delf would fit any of the juniors? So far there are no option hands for them, and I really wish there were ;__;

      (Terra, why must you be so lovely so I can't fall in love with anything else, you are making my life difficult.)

    13. Has anyone tried a Kid Delf head on a Junior Delf body? I like the KDs a lot but hate the new elbows with a passion.

      Also a GIRL Jr Delf would be nice! Why are they all boys??

    14. A Kid Delf head would be too small. In the FAQ of their website, they say that a Junior Delf head would even fit a Senior Delf body. Their heads aren't much smaller than normal SD's....so I guess a Kid Delf head on a Junior Delf body would be just as weird-looking as an MSD head on an SD body. Of course, this is just what I think.:sweat

      I'd like to see JDF girls too!

    15. I own a JDF and a SDF, and I can tell you that unless you want monster gorilla hands for your JDF it won't work as far as proportions go. The Delf dolls are of a totally different resin color, but it might work proportionally.

    16. XD Monster hands! Thank you for the info.

    17. The body is slimmer over all. Delf pants tend to be too loose and the shirts look baggy. Killian can wear Lut's Delf clothes but it isn't an ideal fit. He is my hardest doll to shop for.

    18. Hmm...I can't decide if I like the JDF body or not. ; ^ ;

      Anyone know if a Migidoll Jina head would look alright on it...?

    19. Oh, Terra, Terra, Terra... *le sigh*

      Well, it's going to be quite a while before I can get my hands on him, but at least I've found my perfect Berwald. Hee... he's definitely going to stand out in a houseful of MSDs when I do get him...

      =^__^=

    20. Rggghhh. Are there any members out there with more photos of lepus and/ or Rigel? I originally wanted a DIM but they changed their body to an overly-muscular one, and I want something less developed looking. Junior Delf seems right, bhere seem to be very few photos of them out there- or at least, they seem to be hard to find. So far, only found a few photos of a Rigel on some Japanese blog after a lot of searching.
      I'm trying to decide between the two for my next doll, and I'm having trouble choosing without photos from various angles with different looks. Can anybody help? Gallery Posts? Box openings? Anything?
