    1. hikari_sys: Another convert to the Terra army! *high fives* I don't know about tata's paradise, but Dollmore pants in SD size fit... reasonably well. I have to warn you though, I've found that Terra is kind of a midgety size... SD pants will be a bit long. He fits SD size shoes fine though.

    2. Nasa: Girl pants! My Rigel, Shie, snatched my girls' black skinny pants from Dollmore in a heartbeat. XD

    3. Somehow that never occurred to me. The jeans I have for him were being modeled by a girl though....

    4. Dollmore pants fit JDF's well. Dollmore Adam dolls are actually shorter than Dollmore claims they are. According to the owners I have spoken to Adam dolls are actually closer to 58cms (dollmore claims they are 63cms on their site) putting them more in line with a JDF size wise. My boys own several pairs of Dollmore pants and they fit well. The only catch is JDF have rather large butts and so sometimes the button in the front will pop open or it will slide down in the back. You have to watch for that, especially if you buy the pants meant for girls. The older style pants seem to have been made bigger so some of those may not fit as well as they newer styles. My hubby has a pair of older style pants and they fit his doll family boy who is considerably larger and taller than my JDF boys. I have never tried a pair of Tata's pants on my JDF boy. Most of my other SD clothes do not fit my JDF boys. They are so much smaller than typical SD's. But then a lot of my SD clothes are SD13 long leg because they were purchased for my Little Monica Harmony who is on the larger side. Even the stuff that fits my delf who is 60cms is a bit larger on my JDF boys though. They are thinner and shorter. You often have to have stuff custom made or look for things made for SD10 boys, or stuff made for girls that isn't too girly.

    5. Oh yeah, the sliding down the butt thing has given mine a reputation as a flasher XD Doesn't help that he's pretty tightly strung, so he had a tendency to randomly bend over and moon people...

    6. haha very thanks you!! :)

Everything is a matter of looking after... because you can always adjust a bit pants behind :)

    7. I'm gonna join the anxiety here! my boy has been with me nearly two months and still doesn't have proper pants~
I had him in shorts for the most part, 'cause I couldn't get something more decent. now I've ordered two pairs of pants and I'm not sure if they will fit him or not. I don't care that much if they're too long, I like the oversized look on him~ he does have a shirt, which sleeves are too long too and he looks so cute with them hanging half over his hands!

anyway, I will get a coat too and I hope he'll come together finally, 'cause right now I can't even take him out and do photos, 'cause he's half naked and would freeze in the snow haha
and I'm still looking for a nice pair of eyes. I want them to be light green, right now he has the blue ones he came with...

thing is, I had ordered a pair of eyes from luts, but they're too high in the front (how can I say that?), well, on top of the eye is bulge from the transparent glass and so they won't fit his eye sockets well enough, there's a huge gap on both sides where the white of the eyes doesn't get close enough inside the sockets to fit... the color is gorgeous though, but I can't use them, if they don't fit >.<

    8. My boys are notorious for the button popping in the front. It seems I'm always finding them flashing some one. I need to buy more boxers or something.

For eyes my event head wears 16mm from captured in glass here on DOA and they fit nicely. My Terra has 18mm ginarolo glass eyes but I think the 18mm may have been too large. He has green tea and they are a really pretty light green. They are a bit pricey but soooo pretty. I need to try them in a smaller size though. I'm wondering if they will fit in the 16mm.

    9. I'd love to know whether or not it'll be fine to get 16mm eyes for him or not.
I did look at many offers and was thinking about getting ginaralo eyes for him, but... judging from the pictures she doesn't have the shade of green I'm looking for. and I'd love to know how 16mm eyes work for Terra.
even though the blue ones he came with, which fit nicely, don't look too big for me.
I really don't like the blue ones much, so I hope I'll get better ones soon

    10. You might look at captured in glass and see if they have what you are looking for in green. http://www.denofangels.com/forums/s...-▋▋▋▋-8.89-Glass-Doll-Eyes&highlight=captured

I use their 16mm in my event head and am very happy with them. I actually have 4 pairs of eyes from them and love them all. I buy them flat backed because I just prefer them that way but you can do the full rounds too I believe. Sometimes different companies eyes fit differently. The 16mm captured in glass definitely fit in Terra (I just tried another of my boys eyes in him) I think most others would as well. I'm tempted to try it, if I had the extra money to buy another pair.

    11. thanks for linking me to that seller! I think I found a nice green that'd be perfect for my guy ^^
and with the price offered I might even get a spare one or two to try also in different sizes and styles

now I'll wait for christmas and the money for new accessory I might get ^^

    12. I've just fallen in love with Junior Delf Terra.

He's so fantastic and adorable. :) But I don't know how he'll fit into my doll family. He looks similiar to my girl, maybe they could be siblings? I'd need to get him a boyfriend, perhaps DOC Ivan? :)

    13. Hello, I've jot got my first JDF body for my JDF Summer event 2 head (who was previously on a SDF body). I've noticed he has one of those revolving thigh-joint things... except they don't revolve! In the luts pictures, they have them bending up so he can sit with his legs hunched up, but I was wondering, how do you get them to work if they're wearing pants? I'm having such trouble with it! This body will take a while to get used to, methinks!

    14. Harlequin-Elle, They don't really revolve, they are more for use in pulling the legs up like in the pictures on the lut's site. I've had the bodies for over a year now and not mastered accomplishing this in pants. Perhaps it is because my boys wear tight pants but while an interesting option the joint itself doesn't work as well in practice as it could I think. It is strange because I have a Honey Delf and she has fully revolving thigh joints, though I will admit those have their own draw backs and can't do what these joints can do when engaged properly. Maybe it is something I just haven't learned to use correctly.

    15. Iris- Thanks for your response! To be honest, the JDF body doesn't seem a very well-engineered one to me- could you maybe list some of its advantages? Because I'm not really used to this one yet and it may not be for me ^^;
I think if I sanded down that kind of ridge on the thigh-joint, to make it flush with the resin, then it could rotate and a few of the body's problems would be fixed (the problem of his legs sticking out when he sits, for example). I have a SDF and a dollndoll and they both have the revolving thigh joints, and I think they're a really good idea, so I can't think why Luts would have a thigh joint that doesn't revolve!
I have a few more questions- it seems to me the torso joint can hardly bend or twist at all, and is this due to the large lump of resin inside it? I may saw it off to increase his ability to bend. And I think I'll kip his feet, which may help them point more.
It's a lot of work, to be honest! O.o

    16. Harlequin-Elle: I was going to argue in favor of the body for you. Then I realized that all my arguments are aesthetic based (I can't help it, I think it's a really cute body...) instead of function based |D; Time to go haul my Terra out and fiddle with him. Except he's strung tight, so his thigh joints have a tendency to bite...

    17. Part of the issue I've had with my JDF has just been that they arrive strung very tight. That and they need sueded. I hot glue sueded my boys and that made a good deal of difference. I find the bodies incredibly posable, more so than any of my other SD boys though admittedly I do not have a SDF. I do have a Delf and a LM Harmony A body. Most of my SD boys have rotating thigh joints and while they can do some things that are nice they cannot do the leg up poses that the JDF can do. I've found each of my dolls bodies to have at least one point that frustrates me. The lip on the inside of the torso joint allows the JDF to hold a pose when not strung to tightly. My older JDF body can do this now that he has had some time for his elastic to relax a bit (I have also put hot glue in that joint). In playing with my Terra this evening I was able to manipulate the thigh joint into position even with his pants on. Unfortunately his big JDF butt caused him to pop the button of his jeans but that wouldn't be a problem on a different pair of pants. LOL So it is possible to engage the joint in pants once the elastic has relaxed when you are more familiar with the body. I will admit the rotated thighs look cute as well, but I find my own frustrations with some of those (when my boys legs turn backwards in jeans and I have to take his clothes off to fix them). I think ultimately you have to decide what kind of posing you want from your doll, and just do a little playing with the body to see what you are comfortable with. I will say that some of the upper body posing on the JDF's can look a little stiff. It is one of my primary complaints with them. I am hopeful that as the elastic relaxes the posing will become more natural.

    18. So, on the legs to the chest thing.... They CAN do it in clothes, sort of, especially if you brace their feet against something. I wouldn't recomend it though, because then they flash the whole world. These boys have butts, and they like to show them.

    19. Nasa- No, tell me all the things you like about them aesthetically, I'd like to hear! ^^
I've managed to do the whole leg-chest thing on my boy in pants, but it flicks down again very fast (with a very scary noise!) and yes, he flashed like a maniac :D That's the best thing about these bodies, the cute bubble-butt!
I haven't personally experienced the leg-twisting thing that comes with the rotating thighs, but then my dolls are strung pretty tight. I think I've been quite spoiled with the engineering of my current dolls, which means I tend to expect a doll to be more posable than usual!
Also- how do you deal with their habit of sitting with their feet wide apart? I found if I latched one foot onto the other, he could hold them together, but it's a bit tricky what with their feet being unable to point.
