Nice to see owners pictures - However, I still can't decide if i should get a Karon or not

 

Did anyone else notice how the ears are not the same size? His right one is bigger, I had to mod him yesterday ;_;

Lotte - get one! I'm really impressed with the sculpt, I don't think he has a bad angle.

 

Err, did their normal skintone change? It used to match Luts normal, as well as Volks Pureskin, but my Karon is far, far lighter than my CP body and way more yellow. He's about the same shade as my Sabik, but Soom normal is pink. I mean, this normal is so pale, I had to place it next to my BW Soom Kyrie to make sure I wasn't sent the wrong skintone.

Gaaaah, I don't know what body I need to order now. All of my plans have been destroyed. T_T

 

Yes, the normal skin was so light and yellow when i place him beside my cp breakaway boy who's resin isn't that pinkish, i was shocked.
I did manage to blush the head to match cp normal, the difference was drastic when i compare the head cap to the blushed head.

I have a Kian and I so want to get him a brother, but am so broke right now, thanks to Luts and MNF elf Shiwoo. Maybe I should trade my Vampire Head MNF Shiwoo, so I can afford Karon? It\'s a tough choice!

 

Wow. Is general concensus that this resin still matches Pureskin fairly well, at least better than CP normal?

 

mmm perhaps? since it was supposed to match volks pureskin. i will compare with my friend's volks doll and let you know if the match is gd? ^^

Volks pure skin it is not so yellow, at least when the dolls are new.
I was surprised too with the Karon normal skin tone >< I though it would be more pinkish but it is really pale yellow -_-

 

It seems to match really well with the CP 'Real Skin' tone... I just met a karon/abadon hybrid today~

 

Those are schoepfer oval glass eyes in hazel. Looks like I need the 16mm as there's a bit of a gap. Did anyone else have trouble fitting eyes? These were the eyes I was intending for him but I did try out one or two other brands and he really can't take much of a paperweight.

I compared my normal Karon to my pureskin Emma who is quite new. The resin match isn't bad but Karon is still more yellow. I wonder if K-doll is using an older, more yellowed doll to match. I was going to go for the SD10 boy body, but they're kind of hard to get hold of.

 

I tried on my fren's yukinojo, the color was v close to him. And like what blackapaperbag said, one of my doll friend put her karon normal skin head on senior delf real skin body, the resin was such a perfect fit.

 

ah yes i have trouble fitting the eyes too...... mine was artistique 16mm, it doesn't really fit him well. I tried 14mm, it was much better but still there's a little gap. perhaps i shall get a pair of soom eyes

I went ahead and preordered one >____< I also just bought a pair of beautiful glass eyes on eBay for Karon.....which i am pretty sure won't fit him at all....doh!
